I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, and while it delivered in some areas, there were a few misses.

*Food Quality*
The food was generally good, but there were some inconsistencies. The fish curry, unfortunately, didn't quite live up to my expectations. However, the other dishes I tried were flavorful and well-prepared. One area for improvement is their Biryani, which, while decent, didn't particularly stand out.

*Service*
The service, on the other hand, was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured that our needs were met throughout the meal.

*Ambience*
The ambience of the restaurant was also impressive. The décor was tasteful, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting.

*Overall Rating*
While this restaurant didn't entirely meet my expectations, it showed promise.I believe it has the potential to become a top-rated eatery. For now, I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Went couple of times to their Lunch Buffet on Weekends. Only thing is there is always delay start for the buffet not the time they would say. So go atleast 30 mins after they open for buffet. Taste of most items in buffet is good. Definitely recommend it for number of dishes and Optioms for both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian.

Ordered paneer dosa. The food is pretty stale and the sambar and chutney aren't great. I wouldn't come here again. It was one of the worst sambar and chutney I've had. It tastes gooey like ghuma ghummalu name.

We had the vegetarian breakfast buffet. Everything was good. The dosas were served hot and fresh from the pan. The food were all good. The spicyness level for me is just right. Their staff were all nice and gave us excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place.

Vegetarian options: I highly recommend this resto to vegetarians.

Parking: I love that they have a huge parking area.

Excellent and one of the best Indian Buffet in Bay Area. Each item had a homely and authentic taste and flavor. Ample choice of Veg/Non Veg and sweets. Food was fresh and service was great. Great value for money.

Try their lunch buffet on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. it's worth it. unlike the North Indian buffet, this is pure south Indian style, which is rare to find. The food is amazing and too good.

A Flavorful Feast at Guma Gumalu – Highly Recommended!

I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a weekend buffet lunch at Guma Gumalu, and it was a culinary delight from start to finish! The variety of food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, was incredibly vast. From tender shrimp, goat, and lamb dishes to delicious vegetarian options and appetizers — every bite was bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The salad selection was refreshing, and the highlight for me was the beetroot dessert (Gajar Halwa). It was out of this world — a perfect sweet end to a hearty meal.

What made the experience even more special was the ambiance. With ample seating and a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch. The owners and staff went above and beyond, treating all guests with great care and making sure everyone was well looked after.

Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Guma Gumalu is a must-visit in Fremont. Delicious food, warm hospitality, and a memorable dining experience! I'll definitely be back. And it is Halal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vegetarian options: Typical Indian Veg options. A large selection of veg dishes is available.

Horrible service. Ordered pick up and had to wait for more than an hour. Will not recommend this place if you’re really hungry.
