Just had lunch buffet at GhmaGumalu. I was very disappointed with my visit to GumaGumalu. The lunch buffet cost $20, but the food quality was terrible and absolutely not worth the price. They claim to offer 30 different items, but most of them were bland, poorly prepared, and clearly added just to boost the count—not for taste or variety.
Service was equally bad. There were no refills offered, and staff seemed indifferent to customers. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of money and time. I do not recommend GumaGumalu if you care about good food or decent service.

Great food and great people! I've been a couple of times and enjoyed the food every single time. All the GumaGumalu specials (biryanis, breads, curries, tiffins) are really good and the prices are worth how much food is given.

One of the worst dining buffet experiences I’ve had. As vegetarians, we couldn’t find anything edible here. The food quality was so bad that we had to leave within 10 minutes of arriving. We even shared our concern with the staff, but their response was dismissive and unprofessional, simply saying “some people like the food” instead of showing any concern or offering help. No apology, no care for the customer experience.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially vegetarians. Save your money and time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I tried the Mysore Pak here and it was absolutely delightful! The texture was perfectly balanced soft yet slightly grainy, just the way an authentic Mysore Pak should be. The richness of ghee came through beautifully without being too heavy, and the sweetness was just right. It tasted fresh and homemade, reminding me of traditional South Indian sweets. A must-try dessert if you visit this restaurant!

I usually don’t like writing negative reviews, but I’m sharing this to hopefully save at least one person’s experience. • Veg Manchurian: just okay, nothing special. • Vijayawada Boneless Chicken Biryani: very disappointing. The rice didn’t taste fresh at all — it felt like old biryani reheated. The chicken pieces had more flour coating than actual chicken. • Badam Milk: this was frustrating. They replaced my $6 badam milk with a $1.50 soda without even informing me. I still don’t know how to claim my $4.50 back. • Coconut Jamun: this was the strangest dish. It was refrigerated jamun with no syrup and shredded coconut on top — it didn’t make sense as a dessert.
Overall, the quality and substitutions were unacceptable for the price charged. Definitely not worth
One of the best Indian restaurant for dining ,The flavors were authentic, and every dish felt like a homemade.The service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend the chicken ghee roast biryani and ghee roast goat fry and also we have alcohol service at the restaurant.
