First time at Happy Lemon. This is located at a busy plaza of Mission Square. Plenty of parking.
We ordered the D11 Okinawa fresh milk with boba and D13 okinawa roasted tea with boba: its an ok but not my favorite, both taste the same in my opinion. Also had the regular waffle which is the best in this place and the calamari but so dry and feel like it needs a sauce.
The place lacks customer service, staff are sitting on the side using laptop or phone and will not see customers that are ready to order. No option for paper receipt, tip is optional but will ask you upon ordering and paying your order. When your order is ready they will announce the name of the order, someone touched my order as we have the same order (no name no order number no receipt). Trash bin next to it is overflowing as well. I hate to give low stars but here it is.

Their electronic menus weren’t working so you can’t see what they have. Their physical menus don’t list descriptions. Too few employees to even help me.

Rating the Fremont location here - Overall, our drinks were fine. The servers were friendly enough. I'm giving this location a 3.5 to 4 star review bc the music was so loud, and along with the blenders going on, the servers got our drinks all wrong bc they couldn't hear us. We had to repeat and shout at one another. Though it's not as customer friendly and it may be an extra upfront cost for the owner, I think it'd be a good investment to get a kiosk as an option for customers to place their own orders. The throughput would go faster and the chance of wrong orders would be minimized.

Told me they don't do hot drinks when it's on the menu. This is the worst happy lemon in the bay. Fire all the staff that worked 11/18/2023 @ 4PM, and retrain on the menu and customer service.

Reached around 8:45 pm, there were two staff, neither of them smiled or greeted or not even a word, didn’t even ask why I wanted, the lady just had a cold attitude and I asked for bubble waffles and she said no, didn’t care to give a reason.
Bad service. Not willing to give you a bag for holding bottles of milk tea.

Very rude service, I think the server judge me by what I wear. I used to have good experience here but today I wore a old shirt and the server seems like don’t want to serve me, as soon as the people in front of me left she pulled a long face. I asked her what was the drink in the picture she said she can’t see the picture and don’t know what’s in there, even though I described what it looked like. Either she doesn’t know her own store’s picture or she just doesn’t want to serve me.
