This restaurant is temporarily closed. No more take out for customers because their kitchen is broken; they have disconnected their business phone number.

Not impressed. Ordered shrimp and egg flat noodles. The "gravy" was more like egg drop soup with shrimps inside, way too thin. Our other dish was beef brisket. The beef tasted game-y which is rare in the US, since beef here is very good quality in general, so I don't know what went wrong here. Only positive was the meat and the tendon were tender.

Ordered to-go: Fukien fried rice and house fried noodle with gravy. Both of them were inedible! The sauce from Fukien fried rice was just watery, they forgot to add starch water to make it condense for sure, the shrimp inside the sauce was bad, foul smell and it's absolutely disgusting. The house fried noodle...the gravy was sour! I later found out the bbq pork inside the gravy was probably the root cause! The bbq pork was sour and with bad smell, probably turned bad due to hot weather or not fresh at all, I was so mad and kept calling them from 7pm till 8:30pm but they just would not pick up the call. I had to throw away these disgusting food. Wasted all my money and had to figure out what to eat. I called the next day to complain and the guy said they can make another one for me . But really "no, thank you", I don't want to get sick or food poison. Pls avoid this restaurant.

The Kung pao chicken has no flavor with so many red pepper and beef chow fun taste ok but for the price it's not worth it

I remember liking their congee when I last had them so decided to order from them this past weekend in preparation for not feeling well post vaccine. The pig liver congee did not disappoint as there was plentiful liver slices cooked just right, and the texture and flavor of the congee was to my liking. We also ordered some deep fried items because it's the weekend. The squid and pumpkin were pretty good but the tofu was very bland. Not a hint of salt or pepper on it. We ended up using it the next day in our own braised stew. The complimentary fried rice also had some meat bits inside and was a hefty packed container. We had enough for 2 meals and added some eggs the following day to amp up the fried rice.

Good price, good food, and free fried rice if you purchased $35-40$ or more. Good servies.

Order online and have to wait 45 minutes when I arrive they always say 5 to 10 minutes will be ready but actually they just start preparing it so no advantages of ordering online and if you order go at least an hour later to pick it up.

They're very nice! Also the deal to get free fried rice is a plus!!! Their noodles are my favorite.

I called in A order for pick up, the man was very nice on phone and when I got there. So 5 stars for Him. I ordered chicken and vegetable chow mein and potstickers. The chow mein noodles were very thin and the chicken tasted like it had been cooked with fish. Still it was not horrible and we did eat most of it. The potstickers were good but seemed like the kind you would get at Costco, only they were cooked right. I most likely will go back and try other items. If you send over $30 you get a free fried rice.

I feel bad for them that pandemic must have affecting them greatly. However, there is really no excuse for poor quality food. Our last visit is so salty and oily that is nothing closed to the food they served before the pandemic. I hope they can do better in the future and I will update the review if they get better.

So pissed off with this place!!!! I ordered late dinner via DoorDash apps and they accepted it. I arrive to their restaurant before they close in 30 minutes, only to find out that they had decide to cancelled on me last minute and close EARLY!!!! A big "BLEEP" to them for leaving me to starve to death. Please do not order from them. Thank you.

Recently, we were craving some slightly-less-healthy-than-home-cooked Cantonese/Chinese restaurant food, and MW Gourmet turned out to be a fantastic choice with reasonable prices.FOOD:+ Sweet & Sour Rock Cod Fillets: one of my favorite dishes to judge a restaurant by -- I was happy to see that the fish fillet pieces were sizable (lots of fish, not just batter!) I also appreciated that they put the sweet & sour sauce in a separate container so that the fish didn't get soggy, especially since we had leftovers. The batter itself was already savory, so you could also choose to not add any sweet and sour sauce on top at all, but I thought the sauce did make it even better.+ Braised Tofu & Seafood Clay Pot: as you might guess, the to-go version doesn't come in a clay pot. But it was still good and had a nice mix of tofu and seafood (fish fillet, shrimp, squid).+ Scrambled Egg & Shrimp Chow Fun Noodles: another one of my favorites -- again, they separated the shrimp & egg sauce from the noodles, so the noodles didn't get soggy on the drive home. I do wish the egg was more part of the sauce rather than egg pieces in the sauce - but personal preference.+ Walnut Shrimp: this one was A-OK in my book. Not amazing but not bad. Maybe a little too much mayo?+ Deep Fried Salt & Pepper Pork Chops: the pieces of pork were pretty fatty and on the saltier side. If you're looking for something unhealthy, this is a great option. The peppers were quite spicy, adding a nice kick to cut the fattiness.+ Yang Chow Fried Rice (see the pick-up order note at the bottom): large portion of fried rice with shrimp, eggs, and savory goodness. Great complement to any of the above items (yes, even the noodles).ORDERING & PICK-UP:We ordered via phone for restaurant pick-up. Both ordering and pick-up were easy.Ordering for pick-up is a better deal here than using delivery services (though they do have Doordash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Eat24 delivery options). * For restaurant pick-up orders over $20, you'll get a free 4 pc order of spring rolls. For pick-up orders over $30, you'll get a free order of Yang Chow fried rice ($10 value), which is pretty worth it -- it's a hefty take-out container of fried rice!Overall: MW's food is a solid choice!

Was looking for my 3 basics when trying out a new Cantonese restaurant. MW was not far from where we were staying, so ordered online at 4pm for 6pm pickup. Food was ready ontime, lady was friendly and polite. My usual 3: beef chow fun, tomato beef chow mean, salted fish and chicken fried rice. The fried rice was one of best we've had. Tomato beef had good flavor and beef was generous and amazingly tender. Could have used a bit more sauce for flavor, but that's just me. Beef chow fun pretty standard, very good, notable that beef amount was generous and very tender. All 3 dishes were great. Now we are looking forward to going back and trying more dishes!

Best Cantonese food in the area! They might be pricier than nearby Chinese restaurants, but definitely worth the price. They now have a special during SIP: free fried rice with any purchase of $30. I tried the fried rice and it was very delicious. See pics for their menu.

The food is great! My favorite dish is shrimp fried rice. However, I suggest you order over the phone instead of using an app IF you can go in person to pick up your food. I say this because you'd be able to request they provide a good enough portion of shrimp. If you use an app for this particular dish, you might get a less than pleasing amount of shrimp. Overall, their dishes taste amazing. In this area, I prefer this Chinese restaurant over many others (I've tried a lot). If you're hungry for some fried rice, chow mein, or any other dish your taste buds might desire - Look no further!
