Yesterday was our first time in this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the first-rate dishes and fine drinks and with the decent price. We will no doubt come back soon.
Reasonable price, taste is good
This is an all-you-can eat hot pot. However, the price is actually on the high side. 6 of us ordered the so-called “Kobe beef”, which is $41 per person including tips and tax, and I truly don’t think it deserve the name “Kobe beef” in terms of taste and price. Everything is based on self-service, including finding the chopsticks. To me, it is much worse in terms of price, variety of food and service compared to the Jin Li Yuan in Sunnyvale.
Been to the other not AYCE jinli yuan, and comparing this one to the other, this one is a lot worse. We went there at 5 (they open at 5), no one was seating you down. After we (2 persons) sat down, no tea no menu no utensils, nothing.. you have to figure out where everything is at.. we didn't order drink but we ordered one sauce.. and they charged us $6. Overall, the customer experience was just bad.. I would never go back.
Good all you can eat hotpot. I like the Szechuan spicy hotpot soup!
Definitely not the Jinliyuan it was before (orat least the one in Sunnyvale, haven’t tried that one not sure if they both changed). I am from Sichuan and Jinliyuan was my favorite hotpot place in the States. Not anymore.
Nice .Forget to take the food photo .
Very authentic hotpot. Great lunch combo deal! But the experience i had is kind of random. The first time we ordered spicy/tomato soup in one pot, it was awesome. The second time we ordered the same thing, but the tomato soup tastes like they poured a bottle of vinegar inside the soup.. So so so sour, cannot stand that at all. Taste the soup base before you start I would say. Despite that, all good.
Grand opening to this 2nd location. $100-30! Very authentic szechuan hot pot. They have ipad for ordering too.
Decent hotpot, kinda slow in service. Their spice level is good, we ordered the spiciest one. Though they don't have alcohol license so they don't serve alcohol.
