Kakuna Sushi Reviews
The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.
Made me sick. Wasn't fresh, quality food.
This place will be probably closed with in the year. Was previously; Taco Bravo, Hawaiian BBQ and now Sushi.
So, I thought great, score...new sushi spot close to our home.
Save your time and money.
I called left a message the next day. Of course no one called me back.
My husband said it tasted sourish to him. We had to throw out everything.
HUGELY DISAPPOINTED. Even more so when I went in to...read full review

Kakuna Sushi offers great tasting rolls and friendly staff. Located in a small shopping mall, this hole-in-the-wall spot has reasonable prices and fresh sushi and sashimi. With only 4 tables initially, it was best to go early to grab a seat, but recently the restaurant expanded to seat 8 people comfortably, making it more convenient for families. Customers can enjoy a variety of dishes, including rolls and bento boxes, with prices that are hard to beat. Many reviews highlight the large and tasty rolls, such as the Mukbang roll and the Lobster & crab roll, which are described as phenomenal and very flavorful. The restaurant is clean, and portions are generous. The staff are friendly and professional, providing good service, though during busy times it can get crowded. Parking is usually easy to find unless during busy hours or holidays. The ambiance is quite bright, and some found the smell of cleaning chemicals a bit strong, with sticky floors despite the place looking clean. Recent visitors recommend the Saigon roll, a Vietnamese hand roll, and praise the freshness of sashimi, though some mention a limited variety of fish types. Overall, Kakuna Sushi is highly recommended for sushi lovers who prioritize good food, fresh sashimi, and reasonable prices over décor.
