The service and the atmosphere is great. But the menu they have is very misleading. And the food is below average.

Tried to have lunch here, couldn’t get the staff to acknowledge me standing at the front of the restaurant to be seated, after they walked pass me several times, eventually gave up and just went next door.

This is for a take out order. My personal favorite Thai restaurant recently shut down. Saddened, I looked around to find another Thai place in reasonable distance from me. (I don't use delivery ever).Went to King and ordered my standard Pad See Ew with Egg and tofu. Two pretty basic items found on any Thai menu. Food came out hot, when I got home that is where everything went downhill. The pad see ew was mushy and the noodles completely over cooked and terrible. Not to mention super sugary.-4/10I didn't know you could call yourself professional and put out such terrible food.Don't go here.

Quite possibly the best Thai food in the area and Alice is the nicest and sweetest waitress I've ever met

DIFFERENT NOODLES STYLES My first encounter with Thai cuisine was during high school as one my track and field teammate's parents owned a Thai restaurant. From that restaurant I remember the first Thai food item I ever ordered - pad thai. When I ate at my teammate's restaurant I would always ordered pad thai. Due to this connection pad thai had a special place in my heart. I wanted to venture trying different types of Thai noodles. At King of Thai Noodles House the first noodle I ate was pad see-ew noodle. It doesn't have many ingredients as a pad thai however I like the combination of rice noodle along with the Chinese broccoli as they both contrast the textures. The second noodle I ate here was pad kee mao, which had texture similar to chow fun at Chinese restaurants. Surprisingly this dish wasn't oily as I expected. I had two types of noodles served in Thai gravy sauce: rad nar and crispy egg noodles. The rad nar noodle was in a soup form. Since Chinese broccoli was served I decided to order beef to make this dish similar to beef broccoli. Overall I found this dish to be too soupy for my liking. On the other hand I preferred the crispy egg noodle. This dish was reminiscent of the crispy Hong Kong noodle in texture and was still crunchy even after I poured gravy. The guay tiaw lord noodle was the most flavorful noodle dish I ate at King of Thai Noodles House. The noodle wasn't fried but steamed. With the stir-fried items on top made this dish flavorful as the steamed noodle absorbed the flavor. Since the noodle was steamed this was the lightest item I ate at King of Thai Noodles House. I did have the pad thai here. Most of the pad thai I've ordered either had shrimp or chicken. I decided to have beef for my pad thai. The beef provided a savory aspect to contrast the sweet noodles. I also tried the King's Fried Chicken once with the pad thai. The crispy chicken added a crunchy texture. In terms of the noodle dishes I ate at the King of Thai Noodles House the following three were my favorite in order: 1) guay tiaw lord noodle 2) pad kee mao 3) beef pad thai 4) crispy egg noodle. I am glad I tried different variety of noodles here at King of Thai Noodles. When I come back here again I don't have to worry about trying a noodle dish I had before.

The dining experience was far from pleasant as the dozen dishes we ordered left everyone struggling to find anything enjoyable. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the food overshadowed what was supposed to be a nice gathering, making it challenging to savor the occasion.

Growing up King of Thai was my favorite Thai restaurant in SF. I have grown up loving the Pad Thai, Ka Prao, pad see ew. I was so excited when one opened in Fremont. Unfortunately, this location has been a hit or miss for us. More recently, and the cause for this 1 star, was the worst of it… I ordered Pad See Ew yesterday for delivery and it was so overcooked the noodles disintegrated…. You can’t even tell there are noodles in here. Also very overpowered flavor of ginger. I’m so disappointed… really hope the quality improves!

We ordered pad kee mao and pad see ew for delivery. What we got had no visible noodles. The noodles were mush. It was delivered within 20 minutes of order so not drivers fault.

Service is zero star. They just ignore me when I came in to order. Food is not authentic at all. I order pad see ew and it is just pho noodle with beef in heavily soy sauce. Really disappointed and never come back

Really tasty food, customized spice levels and quick service. The green curry and pad ki mao is really delicious and so are the soups

It is hidden. I like their food. however, last time when I was there, they were out of a lot of food. not sure why was that. it was ok overall.

This was our favorite place for Thai food..been ordering from here for years!! Our food the other day was not good. Mushy pad Thai, basil eggplant was oily and not much flavor. Strange taste like it was rancid oil. Coconut chicken soup was off..too much onion ..not sweet and creamy. It seriously went from a 5 to a 1 or 2 ..Don't even want the leftovers. What happened??!

Pad See Ew- it was good, but really sweet. Mango sticky - the rice was sticky warm and sweet. The coconut milk was also warm and looks like a small amount, but was perfect for the portion. Thai tea- wasn't great... can't put my finger on it. I don't know if it's too watery or milky, or just not sweet enough. Overall, I would order again.
