I can't review the food because this restaurant is now only serving ramen. The menu is outdated and GrubHub is defunct. When I called to ask if they received my order, they kindly explained they're a different restaurant now.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch last Saturday. The combo special was $15.99 and included salad, an appetizer, ramen and beverage. Our California Rolls were fresh and delicious. The ramen soup was fragrant, generous and filling. The green tea was delicate and flavorful. We savored every bite, every sip. Just a perfectly tasty meal at an excellent value. We will be back!

We really enjoyed the ramen meal. We ordered a Shoyu Ramen meal and a spicy one. I loved their California Rolls too. They were included in the meal. The servers were very friendly. The food came very promptly.

I stopped by after class to find out Kitayama is under new management and are now offering Ramen and other meal options for their soft opening at $15.99 with a salad and select appetizer. Since they are a soft opening the staff told me that there will be more menu items offered. It's a small comfortable area to take a meal break after long hours in class with an affordable menu.

My brother and I came across this place on our way to pick up some coffee. I looked at photos on yelp and thought that there would be a mini-marketplace that sold grab-n-go items but it was just a regular restaurant. I ordered the popcorn chicken and chicken roll bento. Popcorn chicken- Flavor was there! It was fried very crisply and is the ultimate grab and go snack for all your needs! Chicken roll bento - This thing was PACKED! It had veggies, tofu, a few other sides and a heaping amount of rice. A packed bento is almost ALWAYS my go-to easy comfort meal. The chicken itself had a crispy skin layer wrapped on top and it was super tender. It had both a sweet and savory combo taste to it probably due to the sauce that they had used. All in all, it was a very filling meal and I would come back to try the noodles next time!

It feels like I'm back in Taiwan. The teacher's Taiwanese is so friendly and the food tastes very similar to that in the wet market.

Wish I could support this small business, but they need to hire more people and update their ordering system. I ordered online, but when I went to pick up 30 minutes later, they tell me that they don't use the app anymore and will cancel my order. I could reorder, but it'll take 45 minutes. This is with just one table with a family of 3 in the whole place. In less than that 45 min time, I drove to Old Taro, placed an order and got home with the food.

2nd (and will be the last) visit, wasn’t impressed on our first, but decided collectively to give it one last chance, was ultimately disappointed. Held back on posting this until I discovered a fragment of a steel dish scrubber in my soup ( as shown in pic)Called to order for pick up, was told 20 min eta. Arrived at 20 mins, order not ready and waited another 15 minutes (total time ~35 mins), there was 1 table with 2 customers, food already served. I failed to see why my order took significantly longer than the eta providedI had 2 soups + oyster tapioca pancakes (they had “tapioca” in the name for unknown reason), as the lady carried out the much delayed order in one single plastic bag, I could see my soups have already spilled leaving us with just 70% of the soup remaining in the bowl( checked when I got home), lady brought the spilled bag back into the kitchen which took another 5 minutes minimum. Came back out with my soups STILL in one big bag, but this time soups were individually bagged, failing to comprehend that the culprit is putting both soups in a single big bag that tilts as you lift the handle. At the end of the day, more soup was visibility spilled as she carried it out again, as I simply didn’t have the luxury to wait for another failed attempt to fix the downward spiraling situation, I grabbed my order and walked out frustrated, only to have their strong-springged door hit me in the behind on my way out.Frustrations were real, total time spent upon arrival = 45mins (2.25x the initially communicated via phone), received 70% soup for consumption, had a mess to clean up at home as bowls were soaked in soup, food wasn’t anything to be remembered for, until I found the steel fragment which could’ve ended badly had I not notice it.Will NOT return, I miss the Japanese restaurant from before.

Went to lunch with my grandma here. Service was good and food was yummy. We had the Stir Fried Rice Noodle, the Braised Minced Pork with Rice Bento Box, the Beef Burritos, the Sticky Rice Cake with Red Bean Paste, and the Sticky Rice Cake with Sweet Potato. The English translation doesn't always translate to what it actually is, but everything was delicious. The Braised Mince Pork with Rice Bento Box doesn't actually come in a Bento Box. It comes in a big bowl with pork floss, a braised egg, a braised tofu, and veggies (today's was egg and tomato and fried cabbage). This was my favorite dish. It was very flavorful. The place is on the corner of a shopping center. Doesn't look like much, but the food is delicious, the portions are good sized, and the price is reasonable for the area. Would recommend!

Taiwanese authentic food! Very good and fresh! Cabbage s/bacon, basil fried Eggplant, Hakka style seafood, sweet&sour soup. My 4th visits already!

My wife ordered togo and waited for one hour! There were only two tables eating and no line. The food is mediocre at best. Not recommended.

Amazing. I love their bentos bc It gives me a Lil bit of everything. And if you don't like the main dish, the sides fill you up too (side note, bone-in fish ain't fun). I also LOVE to grab some of the discounted grocery goods and just see how to cook with them back home. (Update 6/27: there's none of the old bentos OR the grocer anymore, their other half got overtaken by a bakery! And the only veggies there are sad boiled cabbage.)
