Nice hotpot place is this asian corner of pacific commons. A little different from other hot pot places i've tried. There is an all you can eat option where buffet of items are served on a conveyer belt (pricier than the table option). We picked the table option - you have a choice of soup base which has a decent selection like Miso, Spicy Taiwanese, Kimchee etc (We picked Spicy Taiwanese - it was great!), and choice of meat, and it comes with a bowl with all kinds of veggies...
We ordered stinky tofu for appetizer and Thai Tom Yum pot and Lam pot. The stinky tofu is really signature, it’s smell but if just ignore it’s so delicious. It likes the stinky tofu in Taipei or HongKong. The Soups here is the best compared to my in experience, rich and flavorful, I can tell the difference between those soups, not like the other store you bare can taste the difference ingredients. the food was delicious! but the service was absolutely horrendous. went in for the lunch buffet which is advertised as $19.99. got the bill at the end and were charged for the dinner service at 12pm. when questioned why we were charged the dinner price during lunch the "manager" said it was a special holiday price. we informed them that we were not notified that the cost was different than advertised and said"manager" decided to just ignore us. as we were walking...
