They have extended their menu. It's still meh, but I was introducing a friend to Japanese for his first time. I knew the place to be 1) clean and 2) using fresh fish and thus... no surprises. Good serving sizes for the price. One of the rolls we ordered did fall apart when pieces were picked up. The jalapeno was a weird addition on many of the menu items.

Got this delicious "salmon village" plate which is a great deal for all you get and the fish is fresh. Overall an above average sushi chain.

Had the Omg roll - amazing! My wife had unagi donburi and loved it. Service was very good!

I haven't been to this place in a long time (years to be exact) until today! My friend treated me to lunch and I recommended this place because I remember how good it is! We both ordered the Salmon Teriyaki bento box. The salmon was huge unlike other Japanese restaurant I have been to. And it was delicious! The box had so much that my girlfriend and I could have split one box! We had plenty of leftovers. They also have a huge selection of sushi rolls. This place is a "must try" if you are in the Fremont area.

I'm giving this 5 star for excellent service and reasonable pricing. The establishment is open and clean. They have specials. Today I tried the fish on chips. I didn't know what to expect but it was so good. A great fusion. Flavorful and creative. I really enjoyed the combination of salty and spicy. This is a great dish for a diverse area like Fremont. I highly recommend this place. I think it's underrated.

my go to restaurant for Japanese food! their chicken bento has me coming back for years. food is pretty good i have no complaints i always order to go but eating in isn't bad either its chill and can get busy during the day with a full house. service isn't terrible but it's a hit or miss but usually it's ok. I liked this place because of food and portion size of bento boxes it comes with a lot compared to other places. In a box it's soup, tempura, california rolls, rice, salad, chicken and wasabi i with ginger. location is fine in pacific commons its a smaller restaurant in the corner of a bunch of other places

On Sunday, 3/17/24, at approximately 1:30 pm, my husband and I went to Little Madfish for lunch. I was on crutches due to an ankle injury, and as we entered, not a single staff member greeted us or acknowledged our presence. There was no wave, no "Hello," no "How many people?" from ANY of the employees. There was no line, no paper to sign in, and despite making eye contact with the employees and waiting patiently for ten minutes, no one approached us or offered any assistance to seat us. As a result, we ended up just leaving and finding somewhere else to eat. As someone who currently relies on crutches for mobility, standing for an extended period on one leg is not only uncomfortable but also painful. My leg was hurting and the lack of attention from the staff only added to my discomfort. It was disheartening to see that none of the employees took notice of our presence or made any effort to assist us, especially considering my visible disability. I understand that restaurant environments can be busy, but there were open tables available. Basic courtesy and attentiveness to customers should always be a priority. This location of Little Madfish doesn't seem to understand the impact that such instances of neglect can have on individuals with disabilities and the importance of fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers. I contacted Little Madfish the same day via the form on their website, but I have yet to receive any type of response. I do not wish to receive any gestures of compensation- what I value even more is respect and excellent customer service. Efforts should be made to improve the overall customer experience here. Clear communication, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere would greatly enhance the dining experience for all customers. Thank you for considering this feedback. I will not be visiting again in the future.

Pricey but food is good. Bento boxes are good amount of portion. I like the lion king sushi presentation when it comes out there fire u have to blow. I would have added all the stars if they had good customer service. Some is lazy and have attitude.

Worst dining experience I’ve had in my life. I’m not exaggerating. These reviews are all fake. They literally would not let our family pack up a sushi roll to go. They even threatened us to charge us more!!! So what we did was eat one piece and then take the rest to go hahaha suckers. How dare an establishment punish customers. Screw these people.Dietary restrictions: No vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Not kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Negative

Over the past decade, this sushi gem has been a constant source of culinary delight for me. The Lion King roll here is not just a dish; it's a culinary masterpiece that keeps me hooked. The intricate flavors and perfect balance make it an absolute standout. What sets this place apart are their baked sushi rolls - each one a symphony of taste that never fails to impress. Beyond the culinary excellence, the service here deserves its own applause. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness add an extra layer of satisfaction to the dining experience. They manage to strike that perfect balance between being accommodating and allowing you to enjoy your meal in peace. It's evident that the team values the customer's experience, making each visit a pleasure. The vibe of this place is another reason why it remains a favorite. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, creating a perfect setting for a casual meal or a celebration. Whether you're here with friends, family, or solo, there's a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that complements the exceptional food. After ten years of frequenting this spot, it's safe to say it's not just a sushi place for me; it's a culinary home. The consistent quality, attentive service, and welcoming vibe make it a standout in the sushi scene, and I look forward to many more years of delightful dining experiences here.
