An online search for good Filipino food in the East Bay led me to this restaurant. A friend and I have eaten there several times. It’s a casual, cafeteria-style business with a small but cozy dining area. Irene was very welcoming and was happy to describe some of the dishes. Her customer service is exceptional! We enjoyed everything we ordered….the Longsilog with garlic rice, eggs & tomato, the Sinigang with pork, Kare-kare (loved the tender oxtail and tripe in peanut sauce), Pinakbet (like the way mom made it!), the Kaldareta, and calamansi juice. For dessert we had the fried Turon which was sweet and crispy. Their homestyle dishes are all fresh and delicious. We found a “happy place” for Filipino cuisine where we will go from now on. We highly recommend Manila Turo-Turo. You won’t be disappointed!

Top notch service even on busy days (it was the day before Christmas) , wherein I only ordered 2 servings of lumpia and of pansit guisado for 3 people. Irene accommodated my order and my request to pick up after hours. She even gave a tip on how to reheat the lumpia. I could not be more pleased! The pansit was very tasty, with generous ingredients plus toppings of lechon kawali that no one in the bay area offers! My husband, who is very particular with pansit, enjoyed the dish even the next day after reheating (male sure to reheat by steaming). It was delicious as the first serving. Would be coming back to try their broasted chicken and other dishes. Definitely recommend!

This restaurant has CRISPY SISIG! Since I moved to the Bay Area, it’s been hard to find this kind of sisig. I just happen to not like the sizzling kind.✌️
I like being able to crunch on the onions. The seasoning is spot-on also. The ladies in Manila Turo-Turo are so nice and accommodating. Love their service. I’ll be coming back for more❣️

This is my go-to spot for a casual, affordable meal in Fremont. I've tried many Filipino restaurants in the Bay Area, but this one stands out for its consistently delicious food and friendly staff. Whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to stop here.

Never judge a book by its cover. You can call me one of the OG customers of Manila Turo-Turo since we all have been coming here since “Darling” was the owner.
It has been through a few change of ownerships since then, but under the new regime, it feels and tastes just like the good old days, even better.
If you haven’t been here before, the food is authentic homestyle Filipino food covering all the top favorite ulam (dishes) from sinigang na baboy, adobo, pancit, lechon kawali, binagoongan and the must have pusit.
Service is genuine Pinoy hospitality with mom and daughter team upfront serving food with smiles. The dining area is small but similar to eating in Nanay’s (mom’s) kitchen.
My favorite is tocino and longaniza. Both are always soft and tender with kapampangan style timpla in the longaniza. It’s been consistent so far in the way it is served along with their very delicious sinangag (garlic fried rice) which alone can be enjoyed by itself along with the perfectly cooked egg on top.
There are many choices in the Bay Area if you are craving for good Filipino food, but if you’re in the vicinity of Manila Turo-Turo or even 500+ miles away, it’s worth the drive every time.

Absolutely loved our experience at Manila Turo Turo! The food was amazing, with authentic Filipino flavors that brought us back to our childhood. We drove all the way from Walnut Creek, and it was definitely worth the trip. Irene was incredibly kind and made our visit even more special with her warm hospitality. It's the best Filipino restaurant in the Bay Area. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Filipino cuisine!

Visited today for 1st time. Was told for bigger selection of freshly made entrees, best to stop by before lunch. I had the adobo, and it is good. The owner, Irene, is very friendly and accommodating. I would come back ?
Parking: Plenty of parking; located in small neighborhood section of businesses.

UPDATE: Had the tosilog again and it was very good like last time so it's good to know they cook consistently. Very impressed with how well they cook the sunnyside-up eggs. Love to pop the eggs over my garlic rice. So it seems the silogs don't come with a dipping vinegar sauce. I asked for one and they gave it to me for free. Talked to the staff and they're super nice. Will come back to try the other items here.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Tosilog was solid. Tocino wasn't overly fatty or lean, and not greasy. Love how they give you two nicely cooked sunnyside eggs. What I didn't like is they forgot to pack the vinegar dipping sauce. Good to check for next time. Will come back again.
