The service here has declined over the last few years. Same waiter who's been there for a long time is very hard to understand, not welcoming, made several mistakes because he isn't listening. I've pointed this out before but they don't seem to care. Won't be going back.

It's been a while since I encountered any waiter as racist as the one we had. My husband and I (both Asian) were there for his birthday but it ended up leaving both of us unhappy at the end of the day. Our waiter was inattentive the entire time while he hugged and socialized with some Caucasian customers (I assumed are longtime customers) and then walked past us several times without even glancing at us. The rest of the staff was nice enough to try to pick up the slack but we still had to wait forever after we were done with the entrees before being told that my husband would get a free birthday dessert- no dessert menu was provided, no one asked if we wanted to order after-dinner coffee or tea. And it was the maître d' who brought us the check. The food was mediocre so I would hesitate to go back unless our Caucasian friends want to meet there.

David, our waiter, is always a pleasure to have. His service never disappoints. Food is always delicious can never go wrong with the Halibut.

Came here for a first date. The server was kind and gave us the proper time to talk. We stayed for like 3 hours and they never once rushed us out. The food was excellent. There are many other menu items I'd love to try in the future. Definitely a great spot for a nicer meal.

Massimo's continues to deliver exceptional dining with outstanding food and attentive service. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The restaurant's ambiance was casual elegance. We were given time to look through the menu. Our orders arrived quickly and were delicious. The calamari was the best we had in a long time (which we ordered as an appetizer whenever it is available while dining out). It was crispy and tender, done just right. We shared a wedge salad which the waitstaff was considerate in serving on 2 plates. The halibut was fresh and tasty, and the pork chop was cooked just right, with the cherry sauce giving it a nice flavor. Throughout the meal, the staff was very attentive to our needs. So glad to see Massimo's has maintained the high quality for both their food and service.

We have been a long term. customer of Massimos and have always enjoyed food, service , and hospitality. We went Saturday evening to listen to the guitarist, Rolando Morales. He has been playing occasionally for a while on weekends but this was our first time to see him. Don't know when I enjoyed a guitarist so much... truly a hidden gem.

Another great experience at Massimo's! Excellent service as always. Bartenders & servers were amazing. Food was delicious, especially the Prime rib! Perfect spot for all size groups. Not sure what we'd do without this rare upscale dining, but also business casual place in Fremont.

Our waitress was knowledgeable, pleasant, good at her profession and unflappable. Wild halibut, macadamia nut crusted was excellent. Desserts were a 3/5. I would recommend and go again

Great food. I always get the chefs special. Don't care what it is.

Service is ok but doesn’t fit the upscale vibe. The servers were rushing and not being very polite. The employees were talking and laughing loudly amongst each other. I think encouraging everyone to act more politely would go a long ways.

The food was pretty good. I got the halibut and it was cooked well.

First of all the food was amazing. We've been here a few times and have never had a bad meal. Tonight, however, even though we had reservations, we were put in the bar. We've never eaten in the bar before and now we know why. It was pretty noisy and just not the normal ambiance of the dining room. This was even though there were tables available in the dining room when we got there and empty ones when we left as well. It was awkward with our server. We had to ask him about the specials we had that it was like we had to draw information out of him. As the meal went on, it got better, but it was never really great. We decided to split the bill evenly and he put both halves on my credit card and didn't put anything on the other credit card. He offered to rerun it. But we declined. The parking lot was completely full due to a wedding event. So we had to park in a shopping center parking lot that adjoins the restaurant. Uncomfortable for us two women to be passing by some of the individuals that were out there in the parking lot. I understand the restaurant is not responsible for who is the parking lot, but it was a factor. Maybe it was an off night, but it will influence our return.
