XLB Emperor - Mingle's Mango

Came by here, they had a For Lease sign on the door and they were not open.

This place has a soft opening, so they only some items were available on the menu. We spent $65 for two people. There was a single person both cooking and serving the food, and seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food tasted okay but nothing spectacular. For the price I expected it to be much better. Maybe it used to be really good in the past, but things changed? There’s many more affordable and tastier restaurants around, so I don’t think this place is worth it.

Xlb had completely overfried bottoms black, noodles are hard and dry. Noodle bowl also very overpriced ($25 for 1 bowl!!)

open late night with very tasty food. was great to have this available after arriving on a late flight. I enjoyed the seafood fried rice as well as the egg appetizer.

TL; DR: Don't go in with hungry stomach, you get all your food at once after every tables around you get their food in order.------Edit: just read some reviews, and just realized the owner/manager seems to be a bit delusional? Not every low-star reviews are aimed to destroy you/your business, nor from any competitors. Also, they seem to be unable to handle criticism.------Soup dumplings are aight, not super good but not bad at all...No wait to go in coz there were only 4 parties including us, but definitely not worth the wait though. We noticed that they got all their food in order, finished and left. It took us probably at least 30 minutes for 6-XLB to come out, and another 5-10 minutes for the Fried Pork Bun to come out.No high-chairs accommodate my toddlers, so it's also hard to keep the hungry kids to sit still; no servers to check in with us, and they literally only run the food to tables. Meanwhile, the owner-looking guy checked in twice but mostly chatting with other customers.The vibe is manga, Japanese music/midi blasting. It's special but I'm not a fan of it. Just makes me question the authentication of the food quality...

I would rate 10 stars if I could! His food is beyond delicious and lingers on! I have been here multiple times and I haven't had a single thing on the menu that isn't amazing!If you like anime then you must experience the atmosphere! Be sure to get a t-shirt souvenir! We can dine anywhere in town and we always choose Mingle's Mango! Keep up the passion, it shows!
