The sashimi was fresh and delicious. We tried two types of teriyaki, which were both tasty. However, not as tender as we would’ve liked. The salmon seemed a little too crusty and neither had sufficient teriyaki sauce in my opinion. The fried appetizers were spot in the technique, flavor and combination of dipping sauce. Miso soup was nice. But why were the side salads served in plastic to-go containers? This was not attractive on the table. The complementary soft-serve ice cream was wonderful. Thank you.

Perfect experience! This is my second time visiting MJ Sushi and it was fantastic each time. Friendly service, cold beer, and honestly super quick and high quality sushi rolls. Might have to make this a regular stop while I'm in town!

Honestly experience was ok? Music was super loud, it smelled like pine sol, and the food was just barely acceptable. I'd rate a little higher but I need to balance out the overly high average - misleading to anyone visiting Fremont. Don't go out of your way to eat here 👍
