Was surprised to see another location since I usually go to the Pleasanton one! Service awesome like always and amazing tea didn't disappoint! The lychee was perfect with the handmade mango boba!!! I will be back now that I know this place is here!

Excellent Boba Shop! Staff was really friendly but they only let us order using kiosk and accept card payments! I wish they did provide someone at the register so that someone would pay cash and would still provide customer service!

Mr. Sun’s Boba Tea is definitely worth a stop if you’re in Fremont. The drinks have a slightly earthy flavor, but in the best way—rich, smooth, and balanced. Service was quick, and while the staff were on the quieter side, it actually added to the calm vibe. The dining area is spacious and well-kept, making it a comfortable spot to relax with friends or solo. Located in a great neighborhood, this place is a must-see if you’re exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Mr. Sun Tea is a good boba shop. There is a lot of variety of boba options.
I enjoyed the Mr. Sun mango with mango boba. It is a great drink. The decorations and atmosphere are nice. I like the Didi movie poster - I heard about this boba shop through the Didi movie interview.

Nice place for boba tea. They make their own flavors of boba in-house, how cool is that? I'm not a boba person, but everyone around me loves it. I tried their green tea with no sugar and grape boba, and I was pleasantly that I liked it. It was towards the end of the day so I wasn't expecting the boba to be soft, but the grape flavor made up for it. The prices are decent and I think you get a pretty good amount of drink size. I would definitely come back to try some of the other boba flavors.

Omg this is like the best boba place ever, so many different flavours, they have something for everyone, and the boba is handmade and have different flavours too!! Also the customer service is top tier like genuinely so good I always feel happy at Mr. sun! And the best part, this location has a student discount if you show them your student ID card :))

Super disappointed with my visit, when I pointed to the picture of the one I wanted the girl wasn’t sure of which one it was. I usually don’t complain but my drink tastes flavorless and I ALWAYS come and get the same drink haven’t had an issue til now. Honestly I wish i could get a refund cause this visit was not worth the $7 drinks

Very solid authentic Taiwanese boba shop. What makes this location stand out is the (emphasis here) spacious environment to lounge and hang out as well as their tea and boba. From what I know they are one of the few shops that makes ALL of their boba in house, on a day to day basis. That means it doesn't come from cheap packaging, they literally roll out, make the dough, and boil it on the spot. They also have wide variety of options (love the strawberry boba!) and have special flavors on the weekends. From what I gathered they also do not use any artificial colors or flavoring so if you're really health conscious like me I would recommend. They're branding is also unique, not sure if I understand the moustache but it definitely stands out. Feels like a solid balance of premium and decently priced so it gets my thumbs up!
Also restrooms are always super clean!

Last time I ordered the Taro smoothie for my son I asked for no pudding and they put pudding anyways. Today I asked him for no pudding and my receipt said with pudding so I reminded the guy to not put pudding in and he said he remembered. Then when he gave us the smoothie it had pudding on the bottom. He then takes it back after I show him it had pudding and he begins to dump the smoothie in another cup to separate the smoothie and the pudding which is a health code violation. I asked him to just make a new smoothie so he did and of course he rushed it so when my son got it it had huge chunks of ice. Also my Jasmine milk tea was like pure milk I couldn't even taste the Jasmine tea at all. Not sure what's going on with this place but I used to really like it and now I feel like the quality is gone down.

Their house made fresh boba is so good and chewy! Pretty high quality milk tea :) the owner is super nice and let us sample her strawberry boba.

ordered uji latte the other day, and the matcha in it had a sandy texture. seems like it was whisked with cold water instead of hot, but because of that, it wasn't as fragrant as the matcha should be either. fruit boba is deliciously addicting to chew on though. hopefully my experience will be better next time.
