Ordered takeout using the Slice app. It took 15+ minutes just to confirm the order even when the restaurant was not busy.
Pizzas are too salty and are not NY style. The base was undercooked and was not satisfactory at all. Ended up throwing away all the pizzas. Would not recommend it if you want an authentic NY pizza experience.

I had a party yesterday, and I scheduled an order from Slice (the preferred business with a direct link on their website) five hours before the event. I received confirmation and everything seemed in order. However, half an hour before the delivery, I checked my phone for an update and discovered a text sent an hour prior, stating, "The order was canceled because the restaurant had not confirmed it yet!" I had to quickly find another restaurant, place an order for pickup, and manage to arrange dinner for 30 people within just half an hour. It was the worst service ever. If I needed to constantly monitor my phone for potential issues, there was no reason for me to schedule the order; I could have simply ordered it during dinner time.
Fresh prepared bite size ingredients, excellent sauce, not skimpy on portions.

The lone person working appeared to be the owner, really nice person. However, the pizza was probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. From the crust, the the cheese, and they way it was cooked. I hope the owner improves the quality of his product.

Al’s NY Pizza is a vibe. The place is a hole in the wall joint and reminded of the small pizzerias in NY. Authentic experience and not a fake, cookie cutter restaurant like the other pizza chains out there.As for the food - Look at the slice… larger than my palm and great value for $6. Taste is good and flavorful. Al (I think that’s his name) exudes NY and is very passionate about pizza. Struck a conversation with him about pizza and he was very friendly.10/10 will return.

Great, homey feeling/atmosphere in the restaurant. The pizza is delicious and not at all expensive compared to other restaurants. There are a few eat in places you can sit, and the owner Al is very nice.
