“If you haven’t tried Taro Ball Douhua, you’re missing a dessert masterpiece. Light, chewy, and absolutely irresistible!”
Not bad at all—the food’s quite tasty.
Charges extra credit card fee. Called to order take out. Then asked the person over the phone if they take credit card or cash only. She said yes they take cc. When I got to store, she doesn’t even show me the receipt . Just took my credit card and had me sign. Afterwards I look at the receipt, it had a 3% charge for using cc. What the heck. She could have told me that at any point either over the phone or in the store when I hand her the cc . Nope. I could have paid cash. Super annoyed at them.
Would not go back !
p.s. knocked off a star for mediocre food. We ordered 2 beef noodle soup and 生煎包。 Bun skin was so thick and the filling is basically all cabbage with a teeny bit of pork. Beef noodle soup is too salty and lacking flavor. I don’t know where the glory reviews come from about their famous beef noodle soup. So disappointed. First and last time I will go to this restaurant. Lesson learned.
Stinky tofu is delicious! The beef noodle meat is very tender

I know this place is famous for the Taiwanese beef noodle soup , but I actually more enjoy their dessert, like black tea mixed with soy milk , tofu with taro ball !
*Tofu dessert is seasonal .

Order two bento boxes, the foods are not fresh and have to be disposed. Terrible quality of the food, wasted $36.

Spacious interior with lots of Taiwanese knickknacks decorating the place. They do NOT have rice balls anymore so I was slightly disappointed. Got beef soup noodles, fried taro and radish pastry. All were quite delicious. Only thing I'd say is beef soup noodles was too soy-saucey.

Every time I come here, I feel that the service attitude is very good. There is soup in the small fried dumplings, which children especially like to eat!

Spicy beef noodle with tripe - it's not that spicy but enjoyable. The soup is very flavorful and the thick noodle has a bit of texture if you like al dente texture. Tripe and beef is very tender.Noodle with tripe - tender tripe, soup is flavorful, the thin noodle is soft but not soggy. I like the soft noodle even I usually like al dente.Pan fried bun - very crispy, not too oily. Good amount of meat and veggies inside but unlike Shanghainese pan fried bun, it's got no soup inside. Still, taste pretty good. For a bowl of noodle soup, I think this is a great place.
