Very bad service. There was a call while I checking out and the cashier immediately went to answer the phone and then kept wandering around with the phone. I waited there for 15 minutes and still didn't get my cake and coffee. Will not be coming back next time.

I’m a regular customer to the Fremont location and today I asked for a one of the nice blue boxes instead of the regular brown ones for some pastries I bought for my Mother In Law’s birthday and the cashier helping me said they were only for cakes. - even after I told her it was for a gift-
We offered to buy one and she still said “No”. Very disappointed and I’m not going to come back there.

Started experience with PB from Berkeley, refreshing it with event in China during pandemic. All pretty good.

The cakes are amazing, got the blueberry yogurt cake for my birthday, two smaller cakes (one tiramisu and other one I forgot). However, the savoury pastries are not as good as I expected.

I’ve been a fan of Paris Baguette ever since but this time I had a bad experience. The pastries are good but the drinks are awful.
Ordered 2 frappes - Mocha & Coffee. The drinks are so light as if theres nothing in them. They are just full of froth resulted from blending. Also, they didnt put whipped cream which they usually put. Idk, i think they are short-staffed. I hope they put someone who really knows how to make drinks. ?

Food items are missing label so one doesn’t know which ones are with meat or without meat. This has now happened twice so one star is granted with pleasure
Made hot tea when asked for iced tea. Gave iced chamomile tea instead of green tea then.
They were gracious enough to refund.

I got a tuna sandwich and iced vanilla matcha. The tuna sandwich was too fishy and so packed that you couldn’t taste the vegetables that were also in the sandwich. Worse though, my matcha was not great. When I ordered I said “medium iced matcha with vanilla” and the cashier asked me “what size?” “What did you want added?” “You wanted it iced?” At other cafes when I get a matcha I’ll get vanilla added to it and/or coconut milk and it’s great. My own matchas I’ll do the same. The matcha at Paris Baguette was grainy—like drinking sand— and didn’t taste right. I’m able to make a better matcha at home. I didn’t want to finish the drink so I went up to the counter to give quick feedback and pay for another drink. It would’ve been ideal for them to swap the drink out at no additional charge, but I didn’t expect it and brought my wallet up with me. The cashier, same as before, pulled the manager or owner in who told me “it’s not like Starbucks, it’s pure matcha it’s supposed to taste earthy”. I was a little insulted with the assumption she made, and tried to explain that that it didn’t taste earthy, it was just very grainy. Even the purest matcha when made correctly shouldn’t be grainy. Regardless, they didn’t have black tea to replace my drink with so they gave me a refund. I see why they’re only 4 stars, but they should be less.

I've been a regular at Paris Baguette for the past year, drawn in by their delicious cakes. However, lately, I've noticed a significant decline in cleanliness. The tables are consistently dirty, and there's often garbage on the floor. Despite having around five staff members at the counter, the place remains unkempt. I've had to clean my own table on multiple occasions. It's disappointing because the quality of the cakes is exceptional, but a dirty environment is a major deterrent. I hope they address these issues soon to keep customers coming back.

The ambience is heart and the service is good. Tried their coconut cream macchiato and it was good. We also tried their chocolate cake and it was fresh and soothing. Price is normal when compared to similar places. Would definitely go again to try out their other delicacy’s.

I made my first visit and purchase on July 5, a cake for my sister's birthday. I chose the Green Tea Strawberry cake. I believe we tasted a bit of heaven in every bite. Light, airy, just the right/a tad of sweetness. Needless to say, my sister LOVED her cake. THANK YOU!! I'll be back, and members of my family who live in Fremont will be visiting!!
