The plastic spoon they provided is not the best. But the soup was awesome!
For anyone who just need some hot drink to warm up, I would recommend just to order the soup (maybe with some greens).

I ordered the signature black fish with pickled vegetables a few weeks ago. The black fish was thin, tender and delicious, but what I ordered today was not the black fish, but the ordinary fish that was thick, woody and stale. I threw it away after eating half of it.

Even the signature dishes have to cut corners, I am very disappointed and will not order again.

Went to eat lunch today. My friend was eating the pickled fish and found plastic inside. We went to the staff and said we found a plastic inside our food. The staff didn't seem to care about it, and said it was a fish bone. Did not even apologize about this mistake. Is unbelievable that you can find fish bones in a pre packaged fish fillet. And we left, he was sleeping in front of the counter. Unpleasant experience.

Very substantial and satisfying to eat.The soup is (a little) too much. Maybe less soup can bring denser flavors?

Ordered from machine by yourself .Ordered around $20 w/ 6 itemsRice cake over cooked even broken, soup base probably is not what I expected.Beef is tender, good one .When I went to other Malatang , usually only take less 10 mins , but here only 3 orders, I have to wait over 15 mins and worker talking and laughing…mask is pull down …

There were a lot of choices, but ended up getting a standard option from the menu - totally forgot what I ordered. However I do remember the how everything tasted. Hope you like spicy too… it was intense but good.I was recommended the herbal tea as well to quench the inferno, which was a great recommendation. This place is a counter inside a food court, so don’t expect a fine dining ambiance.Definitely coming back again.

I like the atmosphere, but the dumplins, eggrolls, wantons, and sesame ball were so old and dry. It's really disgusting and unsafe to eat, I'm sure. I was really disappointed and embarrassed since I brought my Vietnamese aunt there for lunch!

Parking: Hard to park, the spaces are really small, and anybody in a tesla automatically forgets the laws of physics and motion.

Got diarrhea almost immediately after eating here. I’m not sure whether it’s related though, but just providing a data point.

Now in Bay Area most of the Malatang are so expensive. QingShu’s price remains very reasonable. And the taste and the smell is actually quite good even compared to other very popular ones. After trying so many popular Malatangs in South Bay, Qingshu becomes my go-to place.

Tried this place while visiting California. The most affordable and tasty hot pot. We took ToGo and this was by far the best when compared to the other Mogolian Hot Pot I tried the last time I was here. Will go back again before I go back to
