Excellent service and food. I had some with capers and a lemon sauce. Yummy! And since I can't eat dairy, they cooked it with olive oil. That's never been offered anywhere else. Mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes very good. Most restaurants undercook the carrots in mixed vegetables --they don't care that carrots take longer. But Il Porcino gets it right. Portions are just right. Great service and nice to have owner serve us. My husband loved his lamb chops too.

A cute little restaurant with great food and service. Nice atmosphere for a conversation. Rack of lamb was super tasty. Lobster ravioli were excellent.

Mediocre Bland lasagne - tomato sauce with little seasoning and overcooked noodles. Seems overpriced. Small place, comfy booths, quiet enough to be able to have a conversation. Okay if you like really Americanized Italian food.

Would be zero stars if I could. We had reservations on OpenTable weeks in advance and when we arrived on Valentine’s Day we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. Will never come here and recommend everyone to stay away from this inconsiderate and unprofessional place.

I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for Valentine's Day and when I got there there was 20 people in line saying that they all had reservations too. When chatting with an employee, they mentioned the system double booked all the slots and they found out on Sunday. There was no communication or cancellations for guests by Wednesday (2/14) and all the people were waiting in line and the wait was over an hour past our reserved time. I didn't get to eat there and I still got charged the no show fee even though I did show up in a timely manner and wasn't able to eat due to the mistake of the restaurant. All the people that got there that day shouldn't have to pay the no show fee for the restaurants mistake and lack of initiative to contact guests to let them know. I wouldn't come here again.

The experience was horrible. The restaurant booked way more reservations than they had seats so you had to wait in line for 45 minutes even if you made a reservation. The food was overpriced and mediocre. Overall I would not recommend.

We went for Valentine's day dinner here. Although we paid per person for a 4 course meal, we got 1 appetizer and dessert to share . That felt odd. Besides that, service was amazing.

They were overbooked. We had a reservation at 7pm and so did some 10 other couples who were waiting outside the restaurant when we reached. We were told by then that they were asked to wait outside as the restaurant was full and they would be let inside as soon as a table was available. We left because there was no way we could get a table within an hour

We love Il Porcino and try to eat there monthly. We decided to risk the crowds on Valentine's Day and only had to wait 5 min or so for our 6:00 reservation. There was a large crowd waiting outside when we left at 7:15 and my guess is others weren't so lucky as we heard a lot of grumbling from those waiting. Having a limited menu was fine and we enjoyed our entrees (halibut and steak) but were a bit surprised to learn we'd be sharing both an appetizer and a dessert for a $90 pp 4-course meal. Service was smooth and attentive, especially given how many people were dining. We'll be back but probably not on a holiday.

We eat at Ristorante Il Porcino every so often, usually on special occasions. The food is always well prepared, but the style is more Mediterranean than Italian. The service staff is very competent and knows the menu offerings well.

Great food, great service... just felt a little rushed at the beginning.... Even heard another table ask them to slow down the courses... it was a holiday and understandably they were working hard. Overall, everything was great and all of the people were great!
