They are permanently closed. I went there today since Google Maps reported it was open but the doors were locked and all the equipment and food were cleared out. I only saw the counters.

Sorry to see this place go. I love Rita's. But trying to survive a shutdown during a pandemic and then land into highest inflation....kind a hard to overcome without a large following Overall I just don't think this always a good location. High rent low traffic unless you're a Peet's or Philz custo

The custard is as good as the south bay location, but the customer service can sometimes be lacking. I will still go again with family when they want to go to this location.

I have been to other Rita's locations & really like the Italian Ice. I was looking forward to enjoying some today. Sadly, this location is inaccessible to wheelchair users. There is no ramp from parking to the sidewalk! This location sends the message loud & clear, "Wheelchair users are not welcome here!" No excuse for ADA non-compliance.

Wheelchair users are not welcome here.Inaccessible to wheelchair users. No ramp to get from parking to the sidewalk. ADA has been in place for 32 yrs. There is NO EXCUSE for ADA non-compliance!

I got the custard and it was alright. Service was quick as well. Unfortunately when I entered the shop it smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals which put off my appetite. My hunt for some good frozen custard continues!
I went here twice, ordered a gelati (large size) with ocean splash and vanilla the first time, and custard with black forest and salted caramel as the flavors (large size) the second time. I would recommend the gelati since then you get a nice flavor and texture contrast between the custard and Italian ice. The ocean splash is a sweet fruity flavor (kind of reminds me of Icees or Jolly Ranchers). The black forest custard was alright, but I would say it is more expensive than I would think is worth, especially when you could get ice cream cheaper elsewhere for that same quantity.

Ordered the salted caramel custard. It tastes nothing like salted caramel. It’s like a vague butter pecan flavor.
