I used to order from this place regularly, it was one of my favorites in the area. Unfortunately, my most recent takeout experience was extremely disappointing. I found a tuft of hair in the curry, not just one or two. This really makes me question the hygiene in their kitchen. I won’t be ordering from them again.
Completely nonsense food. Waste of money.
Delicious food!
🌟 Great Service at Shalimar Restaurant! 🌟
Here is a picture of one of the best waiters at Shalimar!
He is always fast, hardworking, and very professional.
Every time I come, he is kind, quick, and takes care of everyone so well.
He really deserves a higher position because he works with heart and always gives his best.
Also, I want to say that the whole team at Shalimar is very nice and friendly.
They all work hard and make the place feel warm and welcoming.
Thank you to all the staff for the great service! 🌟🍽️
They don’t follow cleanliness, the FDA has to be very strict in this case. They are not doing their job properly,
From the fragrant, perfectly spiced biryani and the rich, slow-cooked nihari, to the melt-in-your-mouth seekh kebabs, every dish was a masterpiece. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere transported me straight to the heart of Pakistan. This is a place you wanna visit over and over. Loved the experience!
Its great when the food is fresh!
A Fremont hood classic. Prepare to get serenaded by beautiful Punjabi karaoke (courtesy of the kitchen) and relax with some free chai
When it comes to authentic food this place does a great job and they proved it by the amount of people in the line that you have to wait through sometimes to get the deliciousness this restaurant is one of those places have been running for a long time and you can tell by the place but at the same time they have a line at the counter every time we're there it's worth the wait
I am not exaggerating, the most authentic and tastiest Indian/Pakistani food, not just on our planet, but throughout our entire solar system.

The food was terrible and the front desk / reception guy was rude. Looks like they need to learn customer service!
Such a terrible place to waste money! They serve food that’s been cooked, frozen, and then reheated unevenly—half hot, half cold. The employees were unhygienic, making the experience even worse. A $5 potato soft taco is far better than this disappointing spot.
Food was bomb as usually kabobs naan really anything from the tandoori is on hit. enjoy and the Chai is Always Free. Cmon!
Malai boti was very bitter. Had to drive back to return it. The cashier and chef started arguing with me without wanting to accept that anything’s wrong with the dish. Ended up refunding but just because there was a huge group wanting to place an order right behind me. Naan was fresh though and decent.
I was recommended this restaurant by a South Asian Uber driver. I'm not sure why it's rated so low, the food was really good. I also love raw onions, and you can self serve pile them on. It's great.
