Food taste, 3/5, decent taste with the spicy garlic oil ramen. The pork quality is low but cooked right. Broth temperature is cold probably due to getting to the end of the business hour? Ramen chosen is pretty decent and I Iike it.Service, not much service needed so I just paid 15% upfront when placed the order.Environment, cozy but the location was not primePrice, very high compares to what other things you get out of this restaurant, every option is extra.Overall, we won't come back!

It doesnt look like something awesome from the outside, but it is beautiful inside and the location has its pros and cons. Peacful and clean. I ordered three drinks, thai milk tea, lychee tea, and regular milk tea. All drinks were authentic and full of flavor. Sweentness was perfect. We also ordered a red bean mochi which was perfectly cooked and tasty. The visual was gorgeous. Service was decent. Cant wait to come again.

The meat is too hard to chew but the rest of the ramen is good.

I stopped by for a boba tea and chatted with the owner. I enjoyed the grapefruit guava green tea. It was delicious without being overly sweet, just perfect. The owner was serving us and came out to chat with us. A very nice man. ?

All of it was pretty mid. The service was good though I was the only customer on a weekday afternoon. The Gyu ramen is just okay, not especially good. It's a bit over spiced and overcooked. The broth isn't very flavorful and the meat doesn't have much flavor. Miso soup was another $4.50 on the side which didn't seem worth it. Altogether, an afternoon lunch meal was about $26 for subpar food. You're better off getting actual good ramen at Kitayama down the street or Obaitori in Milpitas.

It was a revelation to have such Authentic and totally fresh Ramen experience at UMI. A must try with plenty of vegetarian options on the menu too.

Overall very clean place. Decent portion sizes. The ramen itself was okay: the black garlic oil miso ramen was a bit too greasy as was the pork that came in both that one as well as the classic ramen. A bit pricey for what you get, but it comes with a good amount of noodles. Something to consider: it costs extra to add any amount of spicy level + extra for any toppings. $.75 for level 1, $1.50 for level 2, and $2 for level 3. We got level 1 for the black garlic ramen and it was mild. We got level 2 spicy for the classic ramen and it was a good amount of spicy-ness. Toppings included in the price were 2 slices of pork, some sort of bamboo shoot type things (very good), half an egg, some mushrooms, and green onion.

Today I walked the restaurant and the food looked interesting and I wanted to try the food. I loved it! It was filling and delicious. I didn't know what to try and so I ordered the classic ramen, beef ramen, chicken karaage, beef rice with their house sauce, and two drinks which are the Mango-lime and Watermelon-Strawberry. I ordered this much to let my family try it too. They all loved it. But one complaint is that the sauce that came with the chicken karaage is a little bit too salty, but everything else was great.

Not the best ramen I’ve had.Fried chicken on the side wasn’t cooked all the way, and the egg tasted fishy. However the lady in the front was very friendly but wouldn’t come back for the ramen again.

It was not busy, and he was having some trouble with staffing, but the food was excellent. Every dish was perfectly prepared, from the chicken to the mochi and all the various ramen dishes our group ordered. The chef came out to serve himself. We appreciated it. I accidentally gave a negative recommendation because I thought we were eating the other noodle place we tried in Bishop Ranch, overpriced, Luke warm, mediocre food you have to wait in line to eat cafeteria style. People in San Ramon need to come to Fremont for ramen!
