Came in on a Monday for a late work lunch. Ordered the BBQ pork sandwich and bbq baked beans. I am from GA and raised in the south, so always a little skeptical of BBQ in CA. The pork was tender and plentiful on the sandwich. It had a little sauce with it and I did add more of the original sweet sauce from the table. The bun was slightly toasted/warm and over all it was a good sandwich. The beans had nice chunks of meat in it, not sure if it was pork or brisket as they were small...
This restaurant is under new ownership and in excited to see how this place looks in the near future. Their main attraction is the brisket which is always on point. Their burnt ends are also really good. It seems dead every time I've come here but that means really fast service. Hopefully with the new ownership they will be able to attract more customers because I don't want to see this place go. It's a really good BBQ place.
I'm doing the carnivore diet and you can order ala carte. I got ribs and a chicken thigh/leg. Both were very large. Especially the chicken. It's one of the better bbq places I've tried in the area. I like the pure bbq joint atmosphere!
