We had a really good steak (I had ribeye while my wife had prime rib), these were very good.Sadly, their scalloped potatoes that we both picked as sides were bad. Imagine under boiled potatoes, that have a nasty crunch, covered with a few spots of barely melted cheeses.Sorry guys, please Google scalloped potatoes recipe. What you had wasn't it. Sadly we both loved this food and we're sadly disappointed by the corrupted version we were served.Given the price of our dinner, we are not coming back, most likely.

Spent $200 for dinner for 2, and my steak was luke-warm, and baked potato was so cold, it didn't even begin to melt the butter. Took a bite of cold baked potato with a huge clump of unmelted, cold butter. My bloody mary tasted like a glass of tomato juice concentrate. I'm giving it 2 stars only because the cuts of meat were big and tender, even if they were lucky to be room temp. Waaaaay over-priced for a place that can't seem to manage to serve food at a decent temp, IMO. Gordon Ramsay "fixed" this place?

Smelled old and moldy. Salad dressing was slimy. Steak was adequate. Sauces were watered down. Steak prices not on menu. Over priced. Staff was nice.

Going to the Spin a Yarn Steakhouse here in Freemont, and I'll tell you why...I finished out the Pleasuretorium up on the hill for Two Lip Toni and her little heartbreaker Juicyjojo, and with the help of Justin Case and his little squeeze Hope Yorewell, we were able to get that Clamstripper installed without a factory technician. That in itself is huge! Hope gets all the credit because she used one of these things when she was on the circuit and knows the ins and outs better than anyone, as a matter of fact she offered to give Juicyjojo a hands on demonstration, but Toni wouldn't go with it. Toni did spring for dinner though, and it was Spectacular! The Spin and Yarn Steakhouse is a wonderful experience, the service was excellent as were the selections, but the food, ...the food was Amazing!Spin a Yarn... 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

First visit in many years. Remodeled and the food is still great!

Excellent old school steakhouse. Pretty small menu, and nothing crazy, but everything is done excellently. The steaks were cooked perfectly and we couldn't decide which dessert so Keith helped us out. He's the best and quite funny. If you're unsure give it a try.

Serious old school. Excellent food, friendly service, can’t beat it. The pork chop and apples was tender, juicy and flavorful. So happy I stumbled on this local legend. Certainly be back.

Really enjoyable night. Food was great. A live musician that added to the atmosphere rather than dominating it. Service was excellent. I ate at the bar and felt really looked after. I was given two generous tasting of wine before making my choice. Wish more places took that attitude. Really couldn’t fault the place.

The bread needs to be better and not served with cold butter packets, this is not a cafeteria. The fish dish was snapper and I overheard after I ordered it was not wild? Ugh! It came out rather unappealing, and not nearly enough rice with it. I was so hungry I did eat it, and we had a guest with us who also ordered it so I could not say anything. The steak was good, not great my husband said and it was priced at $58! Needless to say, it was ok.
