I was reaaaaaally hungry so I deviated from a further bahn-mi place and came across this one. I mean $5-6 for a sandwich? Hella affordable. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little surprised to see how grimy it looked when I walked in. The floor wasn't exactly shiny, the fridges were foggy and gray, and part of the menu is tattered and faded. There's not really a dining area, but there are a few chairs that are unstacked (next to a couple stacks of chairs) that you can sit in while you wait. I recommend standing and taking it to go. The cashier came to the front. The first thing she does is point to the sign in front of the register. "This business has a 3.50% Cash Discount Incentive built into all pricing. Any purchase made with a credit card will not receive the Cash Discount and an adjustment in cost will be displayed on your receipt." I didn't have any cash so I paid with card. FYI: They have to walk a few feet away to run it at a near counter rather than in front of you. The wait wasn't long, so I was out in less than 10mins. VEGETARIAN BAHN-MI I originally came in for the fish-cake bahn-mi that I saw in reviews and pictures, but they replied that they don't have it anymore. This was my only meatless option. Not bad. I wasn't expecting the rice-noodle-like crunchies on the inside, so it was a nice surprise. After a few bites it can be a little too salty and sugary though. I'll have to come back when I can eat meat again. But if you're looking for an affordable bahn-mi minus the vibes, this is the place.

The bread here is amazing! It’s freshly baked everyday.Inside could use sprucing up to attract more customers - I love getting the vegetarian sandwich here.

We ordered a chicken teriyaki #19from the menu. This is one of the best Sandwiches ever! The Man at the counter was so nice and knowledgeable! He even let us try the veggies from the sandwich which was awesome! I do not know his name but he did say he had worked in Hawaii and he schooled us on the Vietnamese sandwiches which I thought was as really cool! Next time I'm in the Fremont area of course I will visit!

I am here to get a quick lunch to go. Prices are low ($5.25 for #1 combination). The sandwich is actually quite small. Flavors are good but nothing special. They go heavy on the pickles, which are also on the sweeter side. I liked that the bread smaller/thinner which doesn't get in the way of the ingredients. It has a nice crunchy. However, I wish it with a little lighter and airier, which would make the bite easier without squishing out the filling. I suspect their European filling sandwiches would be better with this kind of small but dense baguette. I would come here again, but only in a pinch. Not my preferred spot. Service was very fast!

Bánh mì and pate chaud (bánh pate so) are my favorite Vietnamese appetizers just happened to come upon T&D Sandwiches which is right across from Denny's restaurant in a large shopping mall. Being a first time customer I was greeted very warmly and quite surprised how cheap their banh mi and drinks were definitely a place for those on a shoestring budget. The menu consist both European and Asian sandwiches prices range from $5.25 to $6.25 far cheaper than its competitors they even have Vietnamese noodle soup. For $5.25 I had the #5 grill pork sandwich comes with veggies served on a baguette along with pork eggrolls and pork pate chaud smaller in size crunchy, crispy lots of fillings and a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee for $5.50. Totally satisfied and very fulfilling definitely hits the spot.

Don't let this unassuming place fool you. This place is located in a mall strip that has seen better days but don't let that deter you from coming here and experiencing their delicious banh mi. Upon entering the business, the store did not visibly look welcoming but the man behind the counter was. He greeted us with a smile and was patient as we figured out what we wanted to order. We ordered some chicken Bahn mi, pork banh mi, croissant sandwiches, spring rolls, and drinks. The bread was so soft and tender inside yet crunchy on the outside. Fillings in the banh mi were appropriately portioned and well seasoned. Spring rolls were also good as well as the drinks. The price was also good. Safe to say we will be coming back here when we are in the area.

I'm a huge lover of Vietnamese Coffee. I've tried all the local place here in Fremont when I visit my daughter. The Yelp ratings were high on the coffee. They were right. He shaved the ice fresh , then stirred up the coffee mixture and poured it in. So good!!! And it was only $5.50. He also sells it by the quart jugs. Yum. I went back a second day for coffee, and the owner said I should try his baguette. So I bought one, perfect texture soft on the inside, crunchy crust on the outside and the best part it's fresh every day for about $3

No need to drive all the way to San Jose for banh mi and Viet coffee. Very comparable, if not BETTER! Highly recommend their iced viet coffee, my favorite.

Vietnamese sandwiches are very cheap costing around $5 averagely, really fresh and good, and their portion sizes are fair. Their choice of bread is nice since it makes the sandwich less bulky. The service is really fast like they get it done in less than 3 minutes.I really like how the theme of this restaurant kinda takes place at an urban area more of like NYC style. However, it’s not really good for dining in because the staff did not set up tables and chairs, which is why I decided to take off one star.I highly recommend to come by for this place if you’re looking for cheap eateries. I would come back here again to try other items and whatever they have stored at the front.Parking: Quite surprising that people rarely come to this shopping area throughout the days, which is why there’s so much free parking
