I chose black pepper, and it paired perfectly with both the steak and noodles. The noodles were cooked just right and not too dry. The ribeye was juicy, flavorful, and nicely seasoned.

This waitress is so rude. We ordered our steaks medium well, but it came medium rare. She did not apologize, instead she gave us a bad attitude and took the steaks back to the kitchen to cook again. The worst part was when she came to collect the bill and cash. She asked “ is this with tips or no” I really wanted to tell her “you don’t deserve any tips.”

Just such weird experience when they give you menu after you ordered at kiosk, asking whether you are dining in. Some of us have not ordered yet, but then waitress proceed to ask whether we want to split check, and tell us to use kisok if not ordering steak since we want to split.
Some of the chairs are broken; smell of bleach coming out of the kitchen I believe. One side of the wall is all messed up and didnt bother to repaint it.
Not a lot of drinks on the menu; weak food portion. Just look for better options around the area.

Taiwanese style food and drinks. The taste is OK, but I'm not so impressed with the food. It's a good destination if you are craving Taiwanese food sometimes near the American High school area.

Visited again today. Very highly recommended for the steak. I am very happy for the hot plate steak. Steak and sauce quality are both good. Will definitely come back again.
I think the steak is too oily, a bit sour in taste, but overall good choice for lunch. I like their bento and it was a decent portion size, comes with free drink.

What is Operating Fee? When checking out, it did not appear on the screen. I only saw it after checking out and receiving the receipt. After asking, he said it was paid by credit card and the fee was automatically charged, so we asked him to refund and pay in cash (why couldn't we tell him at checkout?) Black tea - we drank it without sugar and it was delicious. Toast - it was freshly baked and delicious. Rib-eye steak - not the taste we are used to. We ordered Medium and they made it Medium Rare. Salad - the sauce is delicious. I just started eating it. The lettuce is not fresh. Let the waiter know and they will give us something fresher. Thank you! Salt Crispy Chicken - fragrant, delicious hot, best eaten while hot. The store does not sell crispy cakes. If you eat them while they are still warm, the taste will not be good, which is a pity.

American High school students are so lucky to have this nice tea house restaurant across the street. Ain’t Common has delicious popcorn chicken and their tea is excellent too. I’ll be back.
