小劉清粥 （Taiwan Porridge) - Fremont

This used to be one of my favorite comfort places where my partner and I could eat our own favorites but they stopped the 2 or 3 item lunch deal. Now it’s by plates and they more expensive. It’s too much for one person so you kinda have to go with someone who will eat the same thing as you.

I can't even give one star. The waiter's attitude is bad, the food is not fresh and overly salty. I don't know what the boss is thinking, and he has no solution. Maybe the arrogant and bad waiter is a relative of the boss, bad! Difference! Difference! Say important things three times

Typical Taiwanese meal for anytime of the day. Homemade taste definitely brings back childhood memories. It’s on the lighter side and somewhat makes me feel healthier or not as guilty for dining out, perfect for those who want to take a break from hearty foods.

Friendly and super fast service. Variety of dishes to choose from and never running out things to try out, which make me a returning diner to this unique place.

Kid had diarrhea and fever after eating their food in a few hours, now remembered last time he had diarrhea, it was also after eating their food. The dishes are cheap for a reason, people are talking and walking around the food without cover and handle food without gloves, would never ever order again.

I was very disappointed with the a la carte meal. All three dishes were thickened into the same flavor. I also ordered two items from the buffet, which was much better than the a la carte meal.
