decent food. Most of the time the falafel’s are undercooked.

The staff didn't care that the outside sign light was off. Look closely before assuming the place is closed after a movie

Chicken platter - chicken is always bland - why??

We enjoyed our platters and that came with it. Fries with paprika was crisp and tasty and strawberry lemonade was yummy.
Thanks!

Rude people inside. They are smiling at each other when I had asked a question. Not sure if asking a question on the first visit here is allowed or not. Very disappointed and will not go to this location again.

I had high expectations after eating from Halal Guys food truck in New York recently. The food was okay but nothing great about it. The pita was quite firm, rice was fine, and protein was mostly cold.

There is decent amount of seating and I was able to find a space easily. I do have to say it was quite expensive for the amount and taste of food.

A bit pricey, but worth it. Food is just too good.

Vegetarian options: You can have any plate or gyro combo without protein (beef, chicken).

Dietary restrictions: It's halal.

Parking: Location in a shopping center. Plenty of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Abides by local requirements for wheelchair accessibility.

this is my first time trying halal guys on the west coast. i'm originally from NJ/NYC where halal guys originated years ago...anyways, at this location, rice was not seasoned enough, kinda dry needs to be a little bit more oily. meat wasnt even freshly cooked. back home, you usually would see a mound of chicken or beef gyro being cooked & chopped by staff then served immediately to your customers, which is how they do it on 53rd & 6th in NYC. nope, the meat was kept in a little heated metal container w metal top. god knows how long it was sitting there. needless to say, chicken was overcooked.

y'all need to take some more remedial lessons from the east coast so the flavor is adequately replicated. and i traveled all the way from modesto since i had this halal craving. never again, at least not at this fremont location. and btw i ordered at 3pm, friday afternoon, not busy at all, no line. ?‍♂️

I was disappointed to find out their beef is not Halal. They should make that more apparent and obvious. Going to a place named "Halal Guys" most people would assume that all the meat is Halal.
