What a surprise this place was for us, the scones are to die for. Otherwise, an absolutely charming experience with great service and delicious food. I will recommend this place to anyone who’ll listen.
Funky, charming, gracious. Victorian teas in a mileau of Victorian clutter. Tea shops classically feature a small selection of kitch, from crockery to tea towls to decorative utensils with smarmey sayings.
Tyme for Tea, by contrast offers a veritable smorgasbord of antiques, collectibles and yes, kitch. Gracious and accommodating staff, and a medallion tea with glass of Champers! Tea sandwiches slightly disappointing, but what the hey!
