Had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes to get seated since the place was packed, but it was worth it. We went with three people and the total came to around 100 dollars with tip, so it can get a little pricey.
We tried the eggs Benedict, beef brisket burrito, and chilaquiles, along with a pistachio latte and Mexican hot chocolate. Everything tasted really fresh and flavorful.
The standout for me was definitely the chilaquiles. The eggs Benedict was good too, not the best I have ever had, but the potatoes on the side were incredible. They had perfect crunch and amazing seasoning. The burrito was tasty, though not my favorite, but honestly nothing disappointed.
The drinks were amazing. The pistachio latte was super creamy and the Mexican hot chocolate had the perfect temperature, creaminess, and foam. Service was friendly and attentive even when it was crowded.
We noticed an extra seven dollar charge for a drink on the receipt, but they were quick and kind enough to refund it the next day. Overall, a really solid experience with great food, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere.

Ordered the chicken and waffles with coconut latte. The latte was absolutely bomb. Loved the crispy chicken and crunchy edges of the waffle. The staff was kind and helpful

Enjoyed eating here the fully loaded burrito is the one you can’t go wrong with it and everything is 100% halal so anything on the menu is an option!!!! We need more halal spots like in the Bay Area

iJava is our go to halal brunch place! Although we drive all the way from Union city but it’s well worth it. The food is amazing and the mocha is delicious. Special mention to the staff who are very courteous and friendly which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

First time at IJava and we loved it! We ordered the new dinner menu and although we did a take out, next time we will absolutely be dining in. The restaurant is so open and spacious with a super cute patio. The workers were very nice and the food was fantastic. We got the streaks and it was a large size and seasoned nicely. Prices are very reasonable and you get a large portion size! Can’t wait to come back to try the brunch menu.
Both locations are fully halal! I like this location best because there is easy parking and much larger

My wife had enjoyed their food sometimes back (during weekday) and took our entire family this weekend so we could try it out as well. Our experience was unfortunately not that great. Not sure if it was the dishes we ordered or because it was the weekend, they were crowded and couldn’t handle the volume of orders coming in? I ordered their eggs with brisket. The omelette came out pretty bland, i had asked for omelette with cheese and ended up getting just light cheese sprinkled on top. The brisket was well cooked but the texture seemed like it was just recently boiled or something - very watery - and cold. Not a very good combo for brisket. My wife ordered pistachio latte, extra hot but it came out like warm too. She had to ask it to be remade.
If the quality went down due to high volume, then my feedback to the restaurant would be that customers are usually ok waiting longer as long as they end up getting good quality food. Shorter wait time at the expense of food quality is not a good strategy. I’ll give them another try maybe during the weekday but didn’t have good experience on this visit alone that would compel me to go back, especially at about $30/person cost.

This is the nicest group of people I’ve ever come across. I just accidentally showed up 5 minutes before they opened and they were so hospitable and let me order early! Plus the food is amazing!

Best breakfast I've ever had in San Jose. I can't get enough of it. I highly recommend the fully loaded burrito. The serivce is pretty good, and it doesn't take forever to get your food (except for one time lol).
Drinks are great but half of it is ice, so not worth the money, but the food is awesome, and so is the service and the seating.

Top quality halal meat and zabiha certified. Excellent food. Have been coming here for many years. Family run business, they are really kind and passionate about running the restaurant. Treat yourself to an iced pistachio latte :)

Finally get to visit this place and everything was amazing. all items on the menu is halal that is the best part. A place i would definitely visit again for breakfast and lunch. all the food was fresh and tasted amazing. We ordered chinese chicken salad, steak and eggs, short stack pancakes, for kids we ordered bento box mac & cheese. Had a hot pistachio latte and smoothies for drinks. Everything tasted great and I will go back and try other items on the menu as well.
2/28 update : Went there again and tried their french dip and Short Rib Burrito. their french dip was amazing, Short Rib Burrito meat was so tender and it was amazing. This is my new Fav place for brunch now. Keep up the good work guys and keep the consistency. our server Cassanadra also asked me to try the loaded short rib burrito next time with turkey bacon, will definetly go back and try that. Thumbs up to all the crew at iJava cafe. Thanks
