Best coffee shop in all of Galt!

The prices can be pricey but unlike chain coffee shops, you are actually served a proper coffee. It is worth it.

The staff are super sweet and caring.

They have TONS of different flavors, sugar free options, dairy free options(everything from oatmilk to coconut milk), etc etc.

The pastries are lovely and fresh, they also have a few meals you can order which are made with love.

They have a points system too to add up for freebies.

The inside is super clean and inviting. Kid friendly but also a good place to bring out your laptop and work as there are high tables

Prices are rising but that is understandable with the supply chain issues at this moment in time.

This use to be my coffee joint when I lived in Galt.

I was on a road trip down to Socal and hyped it up to the whole car.

The colorful cow outside was a cute greeting on the way to coffee bliss.

We got iced lattes. They were okay. Not what I remember.

Would I travel way out of my way to go? No.

Would I visit and support if I lived in Galt, of course!

I live in Galt but i work across several counties and i hit a lot of coffee joints. Hands down Life's A Grind is my favorite and on the weekends my Grand daughter looks forward to going with me because its her favorite as well. I always order a Quad shot of espresso, its prepared quickly even when they’re busy and always excellent. When i order food or treats its always delicious and well prepared. So just for the quality of the coffee and food i highly recommend trying Life's A Grind but its more than that….The people that work there are the best part of the place. They are upbeat, friendly, fun to be around and honestly i think i pick up more energy from them than the caffeine. Try Life’s A Grind, you wont be disappointed.

A hidden gem with vintage vibes and cozy seating. I ordered their avocado toast and a vanilla Rose Mocha. The toast was fresh, well-seasoned, and generously topped. Coffee was smooth, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Staff were warm and quick with service. Great for a solo coffee break or casual meetup. Prices are mid-range but worth it for quality.

Conveniently located, and thankfully open early. That said I had a couple experiences with longer wait times. Lattes and pastries were good but the avocado toast is sad, it’s prepackaged avocado and the “bacon” doesn’t look appetizing.
*Responding to the business response - my avocado toast was made with packaged avocado, it was obvious in the taste and the appearance matched. The “bacon” was gross looking and tasting. The person who made what I was given clearly didn’t give a care about what they were doing. That’s where you should be concerned. They were the opening crew yesterday. Not sure I will ever come back after that food experience. I threw t it away after 1 bite.
