If I could give zero stars, I would.
I ordered three dinner bento boxes: one with chicken teriyaki and tempura, one with salmon and California rolls, and the last with salmon and chicken katsu. Unfortunately, every single item was a disappointment.
Let’s start with the California rolls—they were mostly avocado and a tiny flake of imitation crab. In fact, all the sushi we received included that same questionable flake, which was not what we expected.
The salmon was the worst part—it was dry, hard, and completely overcooked. It was inedible.
We called the restaurant to express our concerns and request a refund. We even offered to bring the food back. The woman on the phone kept repeating there was nothing she could do, but said she would call us back in 15 minutes. When I asked to speak to a manager, she claimed they were too busy. I said I would come down in person to return the food, and she abruptly hung up.
Over 30 minutes later (well past the 15-minute call back window), my boyfriend tried calling. She repeated the same things to him—offering to remake the food—but by that point, we were frustrated and no longer interested. The food was terrible, and their customer service was even worse.
All in all, we spent $70 on food that went straight in the trash. Do yourself a favor—skip this place. Dry salmon, sad sushi, and horrible service. Never again.
I always stop by on my way through Galt. Their food is excellent.
The rolls are very Good i enjoyed this place right off the freeway
They place is small but has great food. The Baby Dragon roll was so good we ordered another. Highly recommend.
They're so friendly and the food is on point. Everything we've had here is great from the udon, chicken katsu, and sushi. Definitely the best in Galt, and much better than most of the Japanese restaurants in Lodi and Elkgrove. I wish the prices were a little less or the rolls a little larger, but overall a very good place for delicious food.
Inside is clean and pretty, take out is also available. You can watch them make your good if you want. Service is friendly and quick. I'm new to sushi and they were nice and patient lol. The food was beautifully presented and good! I will definitely be going back.
My favorite sushi in the area. Always consistent, fresh, delicious, and affordable. Great service and a couple tvs for game days, too.

I love this place. I eat plant based, my mom does not. We love going here on Saturday evenings and the staff is always so kind and accommodating. I really appreciate that they offer suggestions for me, other than their delicious green roll. The food is always so fresh, too.
Vegetarian options: The staff is very accommodating and you can request vegetarian options
Dietary restrictions: I’m plant based and they create delicious rolls for me to enjoy with my non-plant based mom
Parking: Always lots of available parking
Kid-friendliness: I see kids dining and the staff is friendly towards them

Very kind staff and cozy, unique atmosphere with very good food. First sushi that I had ever liked as a kid and it opened up a whole new world of food for me. If you want a simple yet tasty roll try the Volcano Roll :)

The first time I visited this place, I had just finished a long day of bird banding. I decided to dine and really enjoyed the food and sake. The server was super nice, friendly, and very interested in my work. We chatted for a while. When I went a second time and ordered takeout, the food was just okay. In my opinion, it tastes better when eaten at the restaurant because anything fried gets a bit squishy in the closed Styrofoam box. Also, the eel sauce tasted like they had wasabi, which wasn't the case the first time. Oh well.

My gosh I ordered a $20 dollar roll to go and upon leaving asked if I could get spicy mayo. She says ok comes back and then says it’s usually a dollar so I took out a dollar and she oh it’s ok. No thanks here’s the dollar I will not be coming back what so ever.
