2/5 stars for a few reasons...the first being that I stood and watched as a worker (younger gal) was sitting and chatting with her assumed significant other get up and walk behind the counter, scoop my soup into a cup and then microwave it. No gloves, no handwashing, and then she grabbed some food and brought it back to the table to the person she was sitting with. Concerned about the hygiene and also if the owner/manager knows workers are not working on the clock and "multitasking" as such. Disappointed with the service and the microwaved soup.

There are very few food choices in Galt, this place has steadily gone downhill. I ordered a Ceasar salad which is usually fabulous, but the croutons which I look forward to were inedible. I couldn't get a fork in them let alone chew.. they were super stale. Very disappointing. Not sure if I will give them another chance.

I always come here on a Saturday to have the soup of the day which is "Broccoli & Cheese"...in a bread bowl of course. I couldn't have it any other way..it's sooo good and oven baked fresh. There's no need to take a trip to San Francisco to have authentic sourdough. Save your money and come here instead!..On any other day I have their tuna sandwich which is the best in town...not even I can match it with my culinary skills at home. Once you eat here..your hooked for life by the way. If I had any suggestions to improve the experience..it would be to make the Broccoli & Cheese bread bowl available any day during the week. Oh!...I almost forgot...their Mac & Cheese is awesome too! Don't forget to try either! I better stop now...I'm starting to get hungry again..lol

Had the best sandwich ever! I ordered the garlic turkey on sourdough sandwich for dinner after work and picked it up. It has the perfect amount of everything- garlic flavor, aioli, red onion, tomato, pickles and cheese. It was so flavorful and let's discuss the bread. It was fresh, soft and chewy. Sometimes ppl over bake and it be hard. This was amazing and perfect. Can't wait to come back

So best sandwiches in Galt hands down. Nadya made my sandwich and it was perfect, she really puts love into each sandwich. Enjoyed it so much I came back the next day and even ordered another sandwich to go. Try the turkey garlic pesto with bacon and avocado, amazing. Keep up the great service, will be back soon

excellent food. very patient staff even for a vegetarian diet request. They made me one of the finest vegetarian plates I have ever had. No request is too big or too small for their great assistance. The seating is very comfortable. Ambiance is great to.

I loved how as soon as I walked in I was welcomed in by a employee! I had soup and a sandwich. It was unbelievably good!! I definitely will return. Bathroom was clean and stocked also. Thankyou for the excellent service and food!!!

My first time trying West Coast sourdough it was for dinner. I'm looking for something a little bit lighter and healthier. I decided to go with a Greek salad. When is the artichokes don't hate me. Don't hate me. It's my choice. And the clam chowder. I was shocked when I walked in. The three women behind the counter all took the time to either say welcome, hello or some type of greeting to many times walking into a store, and the employees are visiting instead of breaking their conversation to greet you will continue to talk And talk talk ignoring you only engaging in when they absolutely have to. This was not the case. They were very friendly and welcoming. The Greek salad was simply beautiful. My only complaint/regret ( I'll take some blame) I should've asked for extra dressing. The clam chowder was delicious, but didn't have a lot of ingredients /fillings so it's was more cream.
If you Love clam chowder in a toasted sourdough Bowl then come here yummy yummy yummy yummy and the ladies behind the counter are very helpful and courteous. I'm going to try their butternut squash soup next time I go in and maybe a sandwich I'll give you updates then.

West coast is has the best sandwiches and soups. They opening a ice cream shop here as well. Love this place. They said ice-cream is opening soon. Patio is looking nice .
