Besson family vineyards is close to my heart. Such a special place that makes their guests feel like family. I’ve had a few events at BFV from an amazing Prince themed birthday party to a pre party for a class reunion and every time it’s been top notch from the serving staff , all of the details thought of, and of course the wine. The wine!! There is definitely a labor of love that goes into making BFV wine. There’s a story in every bottle and I love being a part of and watching people enjoying their time together there celebrating friendship, birthdays, graduations, etc…. Stop by and visit BFV! Salud!

Truly had the most amazing party at this venue despite the heat of over 100 degrees. All of our guests were well cared-for and the food and drinks were delicious! We trusted the Bessons to host our wedding reception at their winery and they went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had a good time. 100/10, I would absolutely have another party here in the future.

I absolutely love their award-winning reds. The Melange Rouge is a wonderful blend of flavors, a must-try for any wine enthusiast. Their sparkling white wine is also very popular.
While I hesitated to write this review, wanting to keep this gem of a wine-tasting experience to myself and my close friends to avoid overcrowding, I feel compelled to share the delight that is Besson Vineyard. Nestled among historical 100+ year-old vines, set against a backdrop of stunning landscapes, mountains, hillsides, and natural beauty, this vineyard deserves to be known by the world.
The perfect Gilroy weather nurtures the vibrant, century-old vines, which thrive in organic, loving soil—akin to having a prime seat at a football game.
The vineyard produces wines with vibrant, delicious, and robust flavors. There's something for everyone. I particularly love the Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and Malbec. Sipping the Pinot Noir creates a rainbow of flavors on my lips, tongue, and taste buds—simply delightful!
My wife enjoys the sparkling Champagne and white wine experience. She adds one ice cube, as our French friends recommend, and is transported to seventh heaven.
Weekend events at the vineyard are extraordinary. Strangers from far and wide become friends, with people from Europe, Latin America, and across the USA joining us in toasting the afternoons away.
Besson Vineyard boasts an earthy, organic, and natural beauty that permeates the grapes, producing the elixir that defines the Besson brand. The comfortable seating area makes you feel at home—'mi casa es su casa.' Everyone is welcome.
Overall, Besson Vineyard is a must-see and visit in Gilroy, CA. The new Grenache young wine grapes on 125-year-old vines are simply amazing.
