Very poor quality and service. The food made by 2 girls was sloppy and old. It tasted horrible with absolutely no care for ingredients or its customers. I believe they wanted to close and leave so they tried to purposely make our food with not all of the ingredients as to leave early. When I asked for some condiments to complete the sandwich I received attitude. One of the workers had a ride waiting for her in the store where she made it obvious as she called him in front of us as she shut off the lights and music. Then proceeded to explain loudly that she was going to need more time. Extremely rude unprofessional and very poor quality food. Highly recommend NEVER GOING HERE!!

I had high hopes and really wanted to love this place since Gilroy is small and doesn't have many places. I visited on a weekend and the outdoor floor sign highlighting breakfast caught my eye. When I entered in it wasn't too busy one other family was seated. The staff was not very friendly it kind of seemed like I was bothering them I stood there for a while until one of the ladies asked to take my order. I tried to order breakfast and they told me they aren't serving breakfast so I just opted to try the lunch options. I got the Egg and avocado Tartine and ice coffee the food wasn't appetizing The coffee was "ok" I would revisit to try the breakfast

Lots of potential and disappointment. Woefully understaffed. Mgr sent workers home early. Our meals were late, missing items, and lackluster. The pastrami sandwich was bread, cheese and meat. No sauerkraut or coleslaw. Something resembling a vegetable was needed on the sandwich. The truffle egg salad was missing the truffle. And the salad. Just mayo and egg, with no attempt at seasoning or adding a crunch or color, like celery or apple. The management needs to learn customer service. The 1.5 workers were pleasant yet woefully insufficient. And when they so thoroughly mess up orders, they need to compensate with more than words of apology.

Luckily, the food wasn't bad. As been stated before, employees don't seem to want to be here. Don't expect a warm welcome or smiles. Expect to wait some time before getting your order.

It's been at least 2 years since I have been here. And have to say nothing has changed. 15 minutes to warm a cinnamon roll,maybe because the two front employees are to busy talking about their personal lives. And please don't tell me that you're letting my roll cool down when I just watch you turn on microwave because you forgot to press start. There's only one other customer. Disappointed again. See you in a few years

Someone literally posted exactly what I was thinking… the two women at the front look unprofessional with hair all over the place, acting like they don’t want to be there, weird furniture shoved in corners, barely said two words to us, and got my order wrong when we were the only ones in there…. Really messed up coming here, should have gone to the coffee roasters a block away. Food wasn’t great either.

Worst Service! took more than half hour to receive my food, Why the employees did nothing but %$#sh@t with each other. There was only about 5 to 6 people in the whole shop.

If you want to stand there and be ignored while Two women gossip and act like they couldn't be bothered, by all means enjoy. The owner needs to know the staff he pays are so rude AND can't seem to get an order right. If New staff came in and actually acted like they were wanting the business to succeed.. I would go back.

Really cute and yummy place to grab breakfast and lunch. I also had their catered lunch boxes at an event and they were perfect! The shop is cute and spacious with parking right outside.

Food is great! Service is even greater. The people that work here are so nice the owner is awesome! Ambiance is excellent. If you're looking for something in between a coffee shop but with all the lunch items hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches a wide variety of baked goods. This is the spot. There's outside seating, good vibes! Inside seating I love this spot!! 10/10 recommend the pastrami Sando is potato salad is always good too! The tuna sandwich is amazing! And if you can't decide what you want do half and half!!

I worked here for about 10 months, the “manager” of this establishment is a downright horrible person. She picks and chooses which customers to be nice or rude to, she’s frequently on the phone while she’s working, yells at her employees next to customers, and has 0 professionalism. She got upset with me for getting Covid and not coming in, when I attempted to hash it out with her she yelled at me saying I still could’ve come in & worked and that there are no laws stopping me from coming in while I’m sick with Covid. Someone like that is not worthy of owning a business let alone serving people, Covid is a huge health hazard and it’s shocking she thinks working under those conditions is sanitary for both employee and customer. I would urge anyone not to give this woman business, she has no regards for her customers or employees and honestly doesn’t deserve her title at this cafe.
