The lady didn’t wash her hands after rubbing her nose. I think she was sick. She kept doing it. There were fruit flies very few in the sweet bread glass displays. And it was super hot inside heat grows bacteria.

My granddaughters took me there the other day, telling me how great their mini conchas are, was very surprised at the wide variety of Mexican bread. The people were great. The breads were great so are the cookies I recommend it to anybody and everybody!

I went here for the first time today to check it out. When arriving the atmosphere left much to be desired. The baking smelt and looked typical of any Mexican bakery so the Santa Cruz name on it fell short of anywhere in actual Santa Cruz. I was unable to order any of the FOUR dishes I requested from the visual menu. I ended up ordering a Torta which to be honest I have found to be below average of any basic food truck. To say the least I will not be back.

So my daughter got a tamal from this place 3 dollars for a old crusty tamal super dry and the masa was so hard the fork would go through it ... She was so sad cause her favorite part is the masa .... Never buying tamales from this place.... also right away I knew something was off when I seen her face expression of the lady that handed me the tamal when she realized my daughter was going to eat it there ... She acted al weird and said ....oooo I thought you got it to go. ..... She knew she was giving me a bad tamal...

Was a first time client, I bought a couple tamales unfortunately they were completely soggy it would instantly crumble. I don’t know if it was undercooked but to me it looked like they were left in the heat and the tamale got real sweated that it came undone ( se deshizo).

The owner herself serves and... takes the worst care of each other, good morning, and she just turned around and said to me under her breath, they'll take care of you... and in a bad way, only the one who served me said good morning to me, at least she is polite and smiling.. what terrible service 😡

The girl gabi or Gabriela is so rude. I've come here twice and both times she has the rudest attitude ever like she doesn't want to help. I don't really understand what her problem is but if she's going to have an ugly attitude with customers keep her in the back away from customers.

Stopped by this place today for a breakfast burrito, not to get made fun of because I don’t speak Spanish.
I asked what kind of meats the burritos were since the menu was only in Spanish and asked the two girls to please explain in English. They could not and then mentioned several times how dumb I was, in Spanish. What they didn’t know was I understood every disparaging comment they made towards me. No big deal, kinda cracked me up to be honest, however unless you want a mediocre burrito at best topped with a few insults, take a pass.
