Down in Gilroy for a quick stop and then lunch, and everyone I spoke to about where to get the best salmon sandwich agreed that OD's Kitchen puts out the best sandwiches in town...Especially the salmon sandwich! So, that's exactly what I got, and it was Spectacular! 5 stars all day long☆☆☆☆☆

Have passed through Gilroy multiple times throughout the last few years and we have always made it point to stop and eat here for breakfast. The food is amazing and the staff is great. If it's the weekend you may have to wait a bit buts its worth it and the signs of a great restaurant.

I love going to ODs because of the food. Large servings that taste great. Just remove a few unneeded tables. Or you yourself try sitting at one and eating a meal.

This place deserves ZERO stars!!! I never met an owner who’s filled with so much hatred. The owner is seriously disturbed. Reading reviews you can also see how rude and awful he is to others. No one deserves to be treated the way he has treated my family. Absolutely disgusted. Save your money & DO NOT COME HERE.

I loved ODs. They gravy and biscuits are the star of the show! I had an omelet, my family had burgers. Everyone liked their food and we were discussing what we would get next time. The staff were super attentive even at the busy breakfast time on a Sunday morning. It only took 15 min to be sat, and the food came out FAST. Also, the portion sizes were great for the price.

Also, the remodeled interior is beautiful!
Vegetarian options: Great omelettes that can be made meatless and filled with veggies, plus sweet treats like french toast and pancakes if you’re okay with eggs and dairy!
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to requesting meat be removed from signature dishes. (Kitchen Sink sans ham with a poached egg is delightful)

OD's Kitchen was exactly what i was hoping to find while passing through Gilroy on a Sunday morning. Like any good local joint, there was a wait list during peak hours. Wait time was reasonable and about as long as predicted. That's a good sign: the staff knows what's going on and the kitchen is keeping up. Food came out quickly and was excellent. Eggs were cooked perfectly to order. Tasty bacon in generous sized slices. Actual hash browns: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Better than usual bread/toast selection. My kid's French toast disappeared before i could steal a taste! Chilaquiles offered with 3 salsa choices, all, I believe, made in-house. They even brought out small samples of the salsas so you could have an informed choice for your order. Great fresh pico and sliced avocado on top. Portions are reflective of prices, skewing on the large size. In other words, very good value. Staff are friendly and helpful, competently handling a busy house. Atmosphere is cozy/homey with a bit of whimsy. OD's Kitchen has deservedly earned its accolades!
