This is a hidden gem. We were visiting the Monterey area and decided to try this place. It's a locals place and very nice ambiance. The service was excellent. They let me try the salsa for the chilaquiles to see which one I wanted. My husband got the Gunslinger burger and I got the chilaquiles. This place has great flavors and everything was fresh. We cant wait to come back.

I love this place. Very well known in Gilroy, CA. I recommend getting the Sink. Very tasty and gets your tummy filled. Even a take home box will be recommended.

I have been coming to OD's kitchen since 1995, The food has always been consistently good, and the service has always been great. I just went again since their big remodel opening, and it's great, the same cozy OD's feel and layout - just upgraded. The ambiance is like you're in a home kitchen having good food. Even the owner was serving food which shows how humble they are. Thank you OD's

Love the way they make me feel like part of the family.Kid-friendliness: Small cut potatoes and meat w eggs. Perfect for my lil one year old to eat with comfort.

Imagine 1950s when families got together for thanksgiving having conversations everyone enjoying there meal . With no cell phones no technology, these days look around when having a family gathering 8 out 10 are on there cell phones. When I go to ODs it reminds me of the old days good food large portions and a warm atmosphere. If we all put away our cell phones at family time things would be much better. I recommend ods highly . Enjoy it but put your cell phones away or leave in your car or home for a few hours you will see and feel the difference we will know what's happening in our lives instead of texting or posting on facebook events a good old fashioned invite card makes a difference.
Great breakfast, large portions and a good value. OD's Kitchen is definitely one of our very favorite breakfast destinations.

Cute place! Long line but the wait after signing in wasn't too long. Wonderfully delicious breakfast. The portions are huge so you will need the to go box! We had the tamale breakfast special which was really unique and certainly delicious. Eggs were perfectly cooked. We watched the waitress deliver amazing food all around us. Huge fluffy pancakes, sausage gravies and beautiful benedicts. I think I will try one of the egg benedicts next time. Waitress was so kind and didn't rush us although it was very busy.

Poor management! Behavior of owner completely unacceptable!! Same goes for Sandy's Cafe. Food might be good but I care how employees and others are treated! Both restaurants have lost my support and I've been going to both before they were ever under current ownership.

The very best breakfast I've ever had. Recommend the pancakes. Very busy no matter when. Not a pretty place.Update Feb 2024 - 1st visit since they closed for updates a year ago. Same staff!! They are still friendly!!Food seems about the same, menu unchanged.Changes seem slight - nice black waistcoat around the dining area was what I noticed.Same parking. Good to have back in my breakfast rotation.
