If you’re seeking fast service out of a fast food chain, I’m sorry to say you’ll be sorely disappointed visiting this Popeyes. In an effort to “streamline”, they ceased taking orders at the register altogether and instead put up a whopping 2 whole kiosks, only one of which works at any given time. If the line for the kiosk is backed up to the door, like it was today, they’ll simply tell you to wait. Placed an online order knowing this, and the staff marked it “ready for pickup” in less than 2 minutes. Sure enough, when I arrived it was at the bottom of the list for ‘in progress’ orders.

been coming here for years, but today the service was not to good , and now that they install the kiosks people stand in line for 10-15 minutes until they figure out they have to use the kiosk, not even one employee tells them so people walk away.

Also, I am confused about what they define as “butterfly shrimp.” They used to split them in half before cooking, now what they call Butterfly Shrimp, is just regular shrimp.I have seen this location advertise things they don’t have. Look, if the promotion is over, take down the signs and flags. I’m not sure if the bait-and-switch tactics are intentional, or if they are just lazy.If you ask for something that isn’t conveniently within their reach, they will refuse to do their job and go look for it in the cooler.Me: “Can I get tater sauce?”Him: (looks in cabinet, it’s not there.)Other employee: “It might be in the walk-in (cooler).”Him: “Nah, I don’t think we have any.”Me: “How about in the walk-in?”Him: “Nah, I don’t think we have any.”He couldn’t even check. And it wasn’t busy.I hardly ever write reviews, and I like Popeyes food, but this Gilroy location should be avoided, which is hard for me to say because I do enjoy the food at other locations. Some of the items here were colder than I would have liked, but it was okay.You will see the other reviews complaining about the service. These issues should be addressed by management. This kind of behavior starts from the top. I used to work in a fast food restaurant, and it’s hard, I get it, but my manager cared about customer service, and he made sure we all did too l. He made sure we were doing our job and we had happy customers. If someone wasn’t doing their job, they were let go. There are too many nice people looking for jobs to hold onto bad employees. The culture at this Popeyes needs to change. I doubt I’ll be back.

I never ate here because I used to hear alot of negative feedback from friends, and DAMN IT >_<I WAS MISSING OUT ON SOME GOOD FOOD! The wings where a bit gamey, but the chicken Swiss n bacon thing was fire! And the Cajun fries with the Mardi Gras sauce was like Hella bomb! The second time around my order was a little bit off and they kinda threw it all in the bag half a$s, made my neices fries mix with my nephews chicken nuggets ,,,, and at 6 yrs and 10 years that's kinda a major issue lol ? ah to be a kid again. .. anyhow, I COULD PROBABLY EAT THERE ONCE EVERY COUPLE MONTHS. NOT BAD, THE FIRST TIME :)
Went to the drive through this guy rushing me to order. Like bro give me a second. Got a 4 piece regular, with fries. The fries dry af. The chicken imagine this a 4 piece and he gave me two wings, one spine and half a thigh. All in all, just quit bro. Look for something else. You don't have to work here. You can work in walmart and make the same money. U just ruined my day.

Chicken was delicious. First time trying their spicy chicken... Be ready for it... As it is a slow roll and boil... Creeps up on you and then you find yourself struggling to cool it down.
Ive been to this Popeyes a few times and every time I've gone the workers have no personality and look like they dont want to be there. No smiles no hello. No acknowledgement until you're ready to order.The sandwiches were good....the fries have always been cold, soggy and tough. Ive never had a hot fry there. Are they ever hot or is this normal for their fries?

The food is excellent!!service can definitely improve, atmosphere it's not the best. however. the food makes up for it , f you're looking for drama.this is definitely a place you must visit , always something going on either outside or inside! Therestaurant so bring out your laughter hat and your patience you are going to need both!! now if you're into some freaky stuff you might also find that at this particular location but definitely food is it's goodParking: Is parking is plentiful
We frequesnt this location whenever we visit Gilroy, and it never fails the manager when working is rude. How you gonna tell me I can't pick the dips for my 24pc wings? Refused to give me blackened ranch and kept saying it comes with plain ranch only. I guess wings only come with ranch. No clue, weird. But it's always something with one employee.

Service was friendly and accurate. The food was tasty, fresh, and spicy. Ghost pepper wings are not any hotter that the spicy recipe of chicken. The tables were clean but the drink dispensers could have been cleaner. Overall satisfactory.
