I went with my niece, who is from Northern India. I found the food to be okay, but she wasn't impressed with it. We thought the prices were high for what we were given. The service was odd. She expected rice to come with the food, since it's normally served with rice. When that wasn't the case, we wondered why the server didn't ask if we wanted it-just a bit odd. Then we asked about a dish pictured on the wall, and no one could say what it was, even the chef. Again, just a bit odd. The garlic naan was delicious, though a little brittle to hold the main dishes in.

We visited this restaurant expecting a good meal, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was heavy and not of exceptional quality. The only redeeming factor was the staff, but their behavior was Not good. They were rude and unprofessional, refusing to answer any questions and making it difficult to get what we wanted.
My five-year-old child didn’t even touch a single morsel of food. They charged $9.99 for the kids’ buffet, which was completely unacceptable. My husband asked for a bill clarification, and the server claimed that there was a plate in front of the child, even though it was my salad plate that was on the table. This is highly unacceptable behavior.
In conclusion, this restaurant is not worth the money. The food is mediocre, the staff is rude and unprofessional, and the prices are outrageous. I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to be cautious.

Tbh I don’t do negative reviews but their food quality was very bad. Their choley bhature tasted like they were premade and refried. Their choley seemed to be reheated multiple times. Overall it was very bad.

Outstanding Culinary Experience from Tadka Restaurant, Gilroy
We recently ordered a selection of dishes from Tadka Restaurant in Gilroy, and the entire experience was exceptional. Each dish reflected authentic flavors, high-quality ingredients, and meticulous preparation.
The Tandoori Fish was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, offering a delightful smoky aroma. The Butter Chicken stood out with its rich, creamy sauce and tender pieces of chicken. The Lamb Korma was beautifully spiced, showcasing the chef’s mastery of flavor balance.
For our vegetarian guests, the Saag Paneer and Dal Makhani were outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The Butter Naan and Naan with Chicken complemented the main dishes perfectly, soft and warm right through to the last bite.
Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal and repeatedly praised the taste and presentation. Tadka Restaurant truly exceeded expectations, and we look forward to ordering again for future gatherings. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic and high-quality Indian cuisine.

The food is really good! They do get pretty busy but you see the workers trying their best to get everyone the best service. Food service is quick! The Kulche Chole is fire! I got them spicy and they did not disappoint! Also got the samosa chat and that was loaded as well! Definitely will come back and try some new items. I did see the Gobi Manchurian and it was a big bowl !
