Real Mexican restaurants do not have the words "traditional" or "authentic" in their menus, nor do they have grated cheese anywhere, nor salads in their burritos and last but not least, if you don't see any actual Mexican ppl eating there, the food is not going to be worth what you are paying for.

Everytime we visit Gilroy, we dine in here. Superb Mexican food with great staff. Kids platter are enjoyable too. They also welcome with complimentary chips and salsa. Chimichanga, enchiladas, taco salad and tostadas are delicious.

I usually don't give bad reviews I went here a couple days ago since I really to try the food I was struggling opening the door. A lady was making jesters and I couldn't quite understand it. And when she opened the she said "Que estas buscando aqui" which in Spanish mean what are you looking for with rudeness and with an attitude like if was going to do something bad. A said to her in Spanish asi usted me responde o me habla. Which is that how you talk to me or respond to me. She also assumed I didnt speak english. I called her on and said I just want to buy a burrito that's she change her attitude and she also sneezes on her and touch someone to go order.

We always make a point of going to Victoria's when we are in Gilroy to visit family. Great family owned restaurant. Servers are always jovial and provide great service. Chips and salsa are always fresh and tasty. I typically order carnitas tacos or salad. The carnitas are moist, well seasoned and crispy on the outside. I highly recommend Victoria's.
