When we walked in, nobody greeted us or directed us to a table. The host took forever to wait on us, we weren’t brought menus or utensils, had to get up and ask for it after one item of food was brought out. Each food item for a table of 4 was brought out one at a time with severe differences in the time increments. Once we were given drinks they were never filled again. Host did not wait on the table at all, and she was very unprofessional. The first food item that arrived was not reflective of the menu, the last item ordered took an hour and a half to arrive to our table and arrived overcooked. By this time everyone else had empty cups and plates sitting in front of them. The chicken on our pasta was half dry, and the pasta was very spicy, with no description of it being so. Although some of the food was quite good the overall service would ruin any experience.

We came during what I would describe as a busy halloween weekend festive event! The streets were full of people dressed up and so were the bars. Vine and pint was the same, packed but bar top was open so we grabbed a seat and ordered my wife and I some sliders as an afternoon snack! Chatted with the bar tender and learned more about the festivities going on since it was a Friday before halloween so I was curious if Gilroy was always so lively or it was just that weekend. Bartender was great and even offered me a few samples of the local brews just to try. Honestly didn't recall which things but I do recall one was a sour and ipa for the first time. But I think I enjoyed the one that tasted like a sangria. I joked about hearing that Gilroy was garlic capital so asked if there was a garlic beer since I saw somewhere there was garlic ice cream, but unfortunately there wasn't a garlic beer on tap so no luck there. Soon afterwards our sliders came and we got to enjoy our afternoon snack before heading out to locate me a sample of garlic ice cream in the garlic capital! Sliders were good and medium well! If only Gilroy was the final stop on the road trip I think I would've enjoyed a bar hoping experience since it seemed like there were plenty of bars to choose from!

Jennifer and her husband George were so attentive, kind and friendly made us feel welcome and comfortable. This place is such a great vibe I would highly recommend 10 out of 10 can’t wait to come back . I had the prickly pear and my brother had an IPA

We ordered take out. The fish and chips and steak sandwhich. The order only came with a side salad. The food was pretty good but no chips or fries. The prices are pretty high for such crappy service!

Great selection of beer and local wines, but the surprise is the food, which is excellent. You order at the bar and they bring the food to you. The 4 stars is simply because they were too slow to take the order. Would definitely recommend this lively place if you are in the Gilroy downtown area.
Vines & Pints in Gilroy is honestly one of my favorite spots to hang out. They have a really solid wine selection—some great local stuff and a few unique picks you don’t see everywhere. Their beer list is also on point, especially if you’re into craft brews.
The food is always good—fresh, tasty, and comes out hot. I’ve had their truffle burger (so good), flatbreads, and a few appetizers, and everything’s been great. It’s the kind of place where you can’t really go wrong with what you order.
The vibe is super chill during the week, and on the weekends it gets more lively. The DJ on the weekends is amazing—good music, good energy, and the crowd is always cool. Just a fun place to grab a drink, eat some good food, and enjoy the night.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
The server was nice to start. The manager George is inept and rude.
I was offered to dine inside even though
I had my lil' dog with me. She took my order but I decided to eat outside. Too noisy for him.
There was a couple that came in after but was served drinks before me.
I had to ask/ remind my server for my Diet coke.
She was very slow.
Steak was ribeye but even the best ones aren't presented with that much inedible fat. (50%) fat and it was over seasoned. The Mgr called it the Rine and all steaks have it. Never heard that term before. She brought a fork and butter knife wrapped on a cloth napkin.
Potatoes were not completely cooked. Eggs scrambled were very plain. She never returned to check on me while I was eating.
I went inside for her to give me the check.
My total was $38..30 for a $24.00 brunch menu item and a Diet Coke.
I checked out (paid) not looking at the total. When she returned with my card I looked at the receipt and called her on it.
She said that the menu wasnt updated to the new price.
Not my problem. She went back inside with my card to rectify the receipt evidently. She was gone again for quite a while. 4 hrs later and my total charged is still %38.00
The restaurant was not that busy. There were probably 2or 3 other couples and myself. It was almost 3 p m on a saturday afternoon.
She even asked me if I wanted the ten percent discount for the inconvenience. Pretty dumb question.
Ivget she was trying to be nice but it was too little way too late.
The only convenience I can see is their location.
I just spoke with George the Mgr over the phone and he was very dismissive and rude.. Not the right person for the job
Very disappointing.

Lots of wine and beer options. Good food, great service and lots of creativity abounding
Stopped in for St Patrick’s Day and throughly enjoyed ourselves. As you can see from our photos, the venue and staff were all in on the celebration.
They had a wide variety of craft beer and wine. The ambiance was fantastic and everyone was friendly. We will definitely be stopping by again in the future!
The chef is so accommodating and friendly! Love the vibe, menu, and drinks!
Food and drinks are amazing
Love love love Vines and pints! Perfection in atmosphere and true integrity in service, hospitality and beverage selection! Top notch.
Whether you're in the mood for a low key, lightly boozy and smoochy date under low lights in the corners with your luva ? or wanna to get silly and sassy right up on flashy front street at the bar on the weekend with your hot girlfriends or hopeful wingmen in DT Gilroy, GO HERE.
The owners George and Jen bend over backwards to accommodate and make sure you are welcomed in the warmest and most wonderful way. It's apparent that they do really care about their customers experience at V&P!
Oh! and both the customers and staff are all incredibly good looking people. Lol. I'm sorry, it's true! ?
