Food is decent and portions are fair, but it didn't really stand out. Some rolls were good, while others felt just average. Service was okay and the place is clean, but nothing really made it memorable. Not bad, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way for either.

This use to be my favorite Sushi spot we stoped by for late night dinner and they denied me access with my service Dog. Mind you iv bin bringing her at least twice a month for the past 5 years she is a 5 lb Chihuahua that just sits in her zipped up bag, doesn’t make a sound because she’s trained not to. I suffer from PTSD in Public places from past trauma having her with me keeps me calm. Iv never have a problem anywhere I take her. Now the the new manager at Asahi says she's not welcome so I guess that means I’m not welcome they have just lost a loyal customer 😢😡 Not to mention the hostess was very rude about it. In this picture from previous times you can see her in the bag not bothering anyone

This place was very busy, with about a 30-minute wait for a table. We chose to sit at the bar and were seated immediately. The service was excellent, and the food was good. I especially liked that the rolls didn’t have much rice, and the fish was very fresh. I’d recommend this spot if you’re in the Granada Hills area.

Nice indoor seating and lighting, staff are always bustling but willing to help and assist you. My boyfriend and I got the fried calamari, salmon teriyaki bowl, caterpillar roll, and a baked roll from the specials menu.

Tasty food, but rather expensive. My own bento box lunch with beverage and tip was $37.

The experience was just okay. The food lacked flavor and the service felt rushed. We came with a baby and were seated far from the main area, which added to that feeling of being rushed and made us feel isolated. The best part was the Saturday happy hour food menu, which was a good value.

The food was good, but small portions, so it's expensive.

Great sashimi and rolls, excellent pick-me-up after a long flight to break up the drive home. Everyone was sweet and the sushi came out quick and tasty. Loved it.
