This place is very unique! I had a Tri Tip Sandwich...the meat was Chopped. I wasn't expecting that, but it was Good! Richard M was very kind and took the time to explain the Variety of the Menu. I must return to try more from the Menu!

I bought 7lb of brisket from Chop Shop for first night of Chanukah. This was my meal for my whole family. After cooking the brisket and I was cutting it- I found that half the brisket was fat only. I know brisket-the bottom is suppose to have fat. But with each slice of meat-half of the meat was fat only. So I barely had enough meat. I was so disappointed

SO glad we decided to try this place recently after living nearby for 2 years. I LOVE their Greek salad, and I polish off a medium by myself. Their fries are absolutely the best too! We also got their Tri Tip and it was cooked perfectly.

Another delicious lunch from Chop shop! Today I bypassed my usual salad - cuz it's November and I want warmy comfy foods! Chose a base of French fries for my short rib meat, cooked to perfection, to sit upon. This was a bit...um, what's the word I'm looking for childish? Pedestrian? Basic? (gasp) Whatever, it was fries with grilled meat on top and I devoured it heartily, in the comfort of my own home, where I could be an animal, foregoing utensils. Me happy! Hubby went with the Tri tip and American cheese(chopped into the meat) on a bun with a side of fries. He gave it a mighty 'TASTY!' review.

This place is bomb! I get the tri tip and my wife gets the beef luleh. This place gets busy so heads up on that. It's next to a Trader Joe's and Target so it's a great dinner suggestion after some shopping. Plenty of parking which is dope. Again this place is bomb. A definite must

The food is too acidic, also I have to add, my son works next door to a chop shop and every time he has gone there he has gotten sick, he won't go back there. The food tbh is meh compared to what they charge? Not worth it you can buy the food and make it cheaper ** adding this edit, the store owner did reach out to me to try and solve this issue, which I appreciate. I also realized I did not say in the original post, the store is always kept very clean, and their customer service is always really good. Based on that I am willing to try again

Had it brought in for a birthday party i had the beef with fries man it was great I have a trache and pretty much breathe through my neck so I can't taste like I used to this food needed no salt or anything it was beautiful

Great place to pick up some meat. You can have them cook it for you or take it home and cook it yourself. I have had their baby back ribs and their prime ribeye. Both were great. I have been eyeing their tomahwak for a while now and will get that next. I usually call in my order and it is ready by the time I drive over. Parking is a breeze as it is located in a huge plaza on Balboa. Awesome butcher and awesome place to grab a bite. Definitely recommend!
