First and last time coming here. Staff is extremely unorganized and inattentive. First red flag was when I was being seated. I literally saw 2 customers finish using the table and asked for the waitress to wipe down the table. Her response was" they only had tea"... not sure if she heard about the global pandemic this year..My waitress only stopped by twice within those 45 mins to take my order and to let me know that my food is almost ready. Two sushi rolls shouldn't take an hour to make. After the hour mark, I was still awaiting for the remainder of my order and it never came. Some how a new group of customers got there about 30 mins after me and received there order?!?

Gatten is open during Covid19 and they have a few tables outside on their patio. I really enjoy their food here. ordered salmon skin hand roll, garlic ponzu albacore, yellowtail, salmon, scallop sushi. so delicious!! I come here for the fresh sushi, great discounts, nice atmosphere which i miss. Don't come here for other crap like soups, tempura, or meat for christ's sake!! SUSHI AND BEER AND/OR SAKE

I did not see a recent review, so I was not sure if they were open. Let me say, they are. Looks like they have a few tables outside if you wanted to eat there, but I ordered to-go. Menu is laid out if you wanted to look over your options. I would recommend either ordering ahead or knowing what you want when you get there. Server was very nice and overall service was great! It has been awhile since I had sushi, but everything was tasty and fresh.

I ordered the udon soup. It was good however, I am extremely disappointed that I paid $10 for this small amount. As you can tell I picked up all the noodles with one fork full. This portion was ridiculous. This was a portion for a rat. I pay the same amount at Northridge mall and get the biggest bowl, it feeds my mom an I.

We miss eating here as we frequented Gatten Sushi with the family precovid. Today we decided to order a tray and realized we can't wait for them to reopen when it is safe because it just isn't the same. The experience of choosing the best option on the conveyor belt vs. you get what you get sick don't get upset when you're at home

Too expensive now (Ive been her before and prices increased) for what you get. Eight 2 piece plates, 1 small roll and a sprite was 48.00 + tip. I wasnt happy with the money spent for what you got ratios. Very little rice and the fish pieces are not draped over that little bubble of rice. Overall I dropped to 3 for price. Quality was okay. To me it wasn't worth the cost. I could have gotten more at my usual place for 48.00. Heck, I could have gotten all you can eat for 27.00 at yet another one of my places. That's my 2 cents.
