This place cheats you. When you buy by the pound, they include the heavy box as the weight.

The pastries are also one of the poorest qualities I have tried in all of Los Angeles. So stale and dry. Why go here when there's an Armenian or Persian pastry on every other street?

Royal Pastry I won't be buying from you again. Two times I tried, and twice I had a poor experience.

I don't know how you're in business. Especially because the owner is so unpleasant and rude.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE unless you want to waste your money and time.

This is one of the best bakeries I have found in the larger Los Angeles area. The pistachio cake is to die for drizzled dark chocolate. Savory cookies are a special treat. And the showstopper is the sweet cheese pastries only served on the weekends. I buy them in bulk now. The bakery is very small with only a few seats outside, I would recommend this as a spot to pick up and take elsewhere to enjoy.

Kid-friendliness: The savory cookies are an excellent option for kids

Let me just say that after having simit in Constantinople / Istanbul and then trying it here at Royal Pastry, definitely I vote for Royal. GREAT JOB guys.Croissant was exquisite, light and airy, full of butter flavor, and each layer was evenly cooked.I'm yet try their cakes, that's for next time.I recommend ? wholeheartedly!I did notice some of the low-star reviews that point to pricing and lack of price tags. As you may see in my photos all items have tags, perhaps this is after-effect; nevertheless it tells me they listen to what customers want. Maybe let's tell businesses how to improve on spot rather than posting.I can say that prices rose everywhere and not just in bakeries

I have recently discovered this bakery and now visit it often! Great variety of delicious cakes (sold as a full cake and by the slice) and cookies. Cookies are a bit on the expensive side but so so tasty! Highly recommend!

I recently visited this bakery and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The aroma of freshly baked goods wafting through the air was enough to get my mouth watering. The simit, baklava, and birthday cakes were all exceptional in taste and presentation. The simit was perfectly crispy and golden brown, and the baklava was sweet and flaky. I was blown away by the taste and quality of the birthday cakes - they were moist, fluffy, and absolutely delicious! But it wasn't just the food that impressed me - the service was top-notch as well. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. They were knowledgeable about their products and even gave me some great recommendations.Overall, I can't recommend this bakery enough! Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat or looking for the perfect birthday cake, this bakery has it all. With their excellent service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Five stars!

ASK THEM TO REMOVE THE BOX WEIGHT WHEN PURCHASING ANYTHING BY LB !!!!++++++++++++++++++++Don't get me wrong I loved the taste of products but I recently found out they include the weight of the box when you buy anything by pound. I have been purchasing baklavas, cookies and never thought of asking if they exclude the weight of box. This time i decided to double check. Since i got very little, she said it was only 9.90 anyways, but when i insisted, she removed the weight of the box and guess what 8.40 , and like its not a big deal she was like you see it wasn't much difference? I am sorry but it is a big difference it it's a hard earned money. Why in the earth! I should be paying 1.50$ more especially in this economy ? I am also so upset cus I purchased before 40-30$ range baklavas probably i have been paying 3-4$ extra for bigger boxes. And more importantly attitude matters. She should have said I am sorry instead she is like you see not a big difference!!!!! Unbelievable! So to sum up! ASK THEM TO REMOVE THE BOX WEIGHT WHEN PURCHASING ANYTHING BY LB !!!!

Great Turkish pastries and treats. If you've never tried Kaymak, you have to get it here because it's the only place I know where you can buy it. It's a bit pricey, but worth it once and awhile. And get the Simit to go along with it. Just think cream cheese and bagels but much better!
