Interesting they are opening at 8:30. It was early before. If you try to sell something for breakfast you should open early. Even when you go 8:30 they are not ready yet, 8:30 their opening door hour not ready to business hours. They also need at least 20 minutes to prepare something that you can buy. I'm very disappointed.

This is one of the best bakeries I have found in the larger Los Angeles area. The pistachio cake is to die for drizzled dark chocolate. Savory cookies are a special treat. And the showstopper is the sweet cheese pastries only served on the weekends. I buy them in bulk now. The bakery is very small with only a few seats outside, I would recommend this as a spot to pick up and take elsewhere to enjoy.

Let me just say that after having simit in Constantinople / Istanbul and then trying it here at Royal Pastry, definitely I vote for Royal. GREAT JOB guys.Croissant was exquisite, light and airy, full of butter flavor, and each layer was evenly cooked.I'm yet try their cakes, that's for next time.I recommend ? wholeheartedly!I did notice some of the low-star reviews that point to pricing and lack of price tags.
