Not welcoming at all. After a few minutes without any acknowledgment we noticed flies in the bread case. So we left.

Smells so good as soon as you walk in and they always make my bagel exactly how I like it

There bagels are like five dollars but the amount of cream cheese you get can be enormous if you like cream cheese then good if not ask for less cream cheese.

This place was clean, organized, and gives a wonderful first impression. I came here because my poor kitty is at the animals hospital and I've gone most of the day without food. I'm so glad I did. The staff was beyond friendly. The food is straight fire (got the turkey deli bagel on jalapeño everything cheddar and a turkey salad on sourdough). They even threw in a good amount of pickles. Plus they made sure my matcha latte was on-point and suggested vanilla flavor. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the people who just helped me, but it was just now (Sunday June 22 around noon), but yall are rock stars. You really helped improve what otherwise has been an awful day. Thanks Western Bagel!

Bagels were delicious. A little pricey, but then again, maybe this is the regular price. This was my first time buying bagels. Place was clean. Staff were efficient, kind and helpful.

Places an online order. When it was time for pick up, I made like in the online pick up line. No one acknowledged. Stood by the registers and was still ignored. People would cut in front of me and they were helped. No one was being rude however, being ignored and just looked at by employees is frustrating when you’re just trying to pick up an order.

I love, love, love this place. The pastrami bagels are bomb, and the coffee is nice and strong. Their cream cheese is the best. I have yet to find a cream cheese that compares to theirs. The only reason why I give the service 4 of 5 stars is solely because they need more people back there. You have 3 people trying their best to service the early morning crowd, on a weekend, of course there's going to be a long line forming. Everyone is super nice and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Why do I always dread coming here? The bagels and everything is delicious, but the service is horrible. I place an order online but have to wait way too long for my order, heck to even be acknowledged by the staff requires a level of patience that is aggravating. The bagels are good tho.

Not a great Western Bagel location. Poorly managed line, terrible order management, consistently out of items, and undertrained staff who fuss around. Bagels are tasty, but other locations are much better. Disappointed.

They’re ok. If you’re craving a bagel I guess this will give you your fix but if you’re die hard East coast they’re meh at best. Chewy all around and lacking a topping, I’m talking to you everything bagel. A bagel should have a crunch on the outside and chewy on the inside. These do not. Coffee if fine. Cream cheese is good. Look, if you’re in a bind and can’t get somewhere like Hank’s. Sure, get a bagel but if you have the time go elsewhere. This is a grocery store pre packaged bagel.

Writing again because yet again I have had another issue with the Granada Hills location. I had placed an online order today at 10:27 am that was to be ready at 10:40 am. I arrived at 10:45 am 5 mins after my time assuming my order would be ready. It was a very simple order 2 bagels toasted with cream cheese.

When I arrived there were 2 other customers waiting in the order pick up and 1 waiting in the normal line. It took over 5 mins for any of the staff to help any of us. Instead all the staff we very loudly talking and laughing instead of working or assisting customers. Now we are at 10:50 am, I told them my name and they said it would be another 5 mins until my order is ready. It is already 10 mins past my scheduled time and now it’ll take 15 mins? Anyways I waited and sure enough nothing was ready by that 5 mins.

I flagged down another staff member who said that apparently my order wasn’t there. And I thought to myself “how could it not be there if the other lady said 5 mins?” She asked me what my order was and she said she would work on it. Instead she proceeded to work on 2 other DoorDash/Uber eats orders instead of mine.

Finally after 25 mins my bagels were ready and I did not get any sort of “sorry for the wait” or “my apologies”. I ended up speaking with manager sharing my frustration about this location. She offered a refund and sent me on my way again without any sentiment.

I have given this location an abundance of chances and something needs to change. Whether it is a management or ownership change or employees shuffled from other locations. The other two locations in the valley (Mason & Devonshire or the Northridge Mall) have no issues like this and the Granada Hills location could benefit from whoever manages or owns those locations.

I’m wait my order 40 min 😡

I recently visited this place to grab breakfast and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The staff, which appeared to be mostly young kids and Their attitude was unwelcoming—there was no smile, no eagerness to help, and they seemed disinterested in providing even basic customer service.

The cleanliness of the place was also concerning. One of the display cabinets for chips was broken, held together with several pieces of clear tape—definitely not a good look. To top it off, I witnessed a staff member preparing a special coffee drink, and the container she used to scoop powder into the cup was visibly dirty, raising serious hygiene concerns.

It’s clear that better training and adherence to health and safety standards are needed here. I won't be returning to this place.
