Walking in here is like walking into a restaurant that stopped caring. The tables were dirty, the walls were stained and damaged, the bathroom was disgusting, the servers were barely coherent, and an employee took his lunch break in the next booth behind us blasting his music... Completely not caring about the silence we were enjoying before he sat down. The food was delicious, yes ... But please clean up the spot and care a little bit.

This Zankou has good parking, but employees seemed more interested in chatting with each other than greeting or acknowledging customers. My order was missing, the famous yummy reason I love Zankou, garlic paste. I didn't realize until I got back to the place I was staying. Funny thing I had given a cash tip before I left. Had to drive back to get it and again cashiers with their backs to the register. The paste was mild tasting, I wonder if the recipe changed. I have been...

Food was great. My kid got the shish kabob wrap without realizing it was whole chunks of steak but he loved it. I got the shwarma/ tarna combo, it was fresh and made two whole meals for me. As always I bought an extra 8oz container of their amazing garlic sauce to keep around ?
