I want to try Best Dim Sum, which opened three years ago. I finally tried them out a few days ago. The restaurant is in an older shopping center and the dining room is very dated. However, the Dim Sum and customer service are better than most of the Chinese restaurants.
The Dim Sum at Best Dim Sum is not from the factory. All the Dim Sum dishes I tried are made from scratch. I love the Shrimp Chive Dumpling and Golden Shrimp Rice Roll. These two dishes are excellent. The Beancurd Skin Roll is also very good. The Beef Rice Roll has room to improve. The beef inside is mixed with too much flours and the rice roll itself is surprisingly thick (the rice roll is excellent on the Golden Shrimp Rice Roll). But the Dim Sum is still better than most of the Dim Sum restaurants in the Sacramento area.
The customer service is great. We have received a passionate service at the Best Dim Sum. At the end, their dining room is due for a remodel or I hope they will at least replace or fix some of the chairs that are already worn-out. The paddings are too soft and can’t support the bodies. I can’t wait to come back to try more items on their menu next time when I come to the area. Thank you for the excellent service.

Went for dimsum dinner at this cozy mom and pop shop. Loved everything we got - chicken feet, siu mai, fried pork dumplings, sesame balls, dry chow fun, fried shrimp balls, etc. Had a feast and added extra orders. The dim sum was made fresh to order. Will go back if I find myself in the area again!

The name says it! Since the dim sum places in Sacramento have been closing, I wasn’t sure where I could get dim sum.
They have a nice selection of dim sum and entrees for family style dining. I would highly recommend.
You can also order to go. I would just call the restaurant directly, instead of using their website ordering system.

Food was good but the vibes were not. If you order dim sum make sure to order all at once, do not add more to the order (per the server even though we were the only ones there)

It has been years since I've had such authentic, flavorful, well prepared dim sum.
This is the place! We tried so many dishes and Lina was a delight! This place is tucked away in a shopping center near ace hardware. Please dont miss out! I will for sure make the drive from Citrus Heights just to sit down and enjoy homemade Chinese food. The Jasmine tea was delicate, the shu mai...oh my goodness yummy and the Hong Kong fried noodles. Yes please! Next time I plan on a bowl of congee. Cures what ails ya!

Way out of our way ...but happened to be in the neighborhood. SO we ordered and had some of the best dim sum on a random weekday evening. For those of us who grew up thinking that dim sum was relegated to a brunch window on the weekends only, this is truly a treat and would for sure make the drive again. When the dim sum craving is strong. We recommend the rice noodles (we had it with beef) the sesame balls, and the steamed egg buns.

Everything I've tried here was fantastic. The fried rice was so fresh and fluffy. My kids love it also. Much better then the place that was there before. I will be returning and I suggest you give it a try as well.

This is an awesome place to eat. I lived in Granite Bay in February 2025 and moved to PollockPines. Whenever we go about once a month to the area we Pick-up our favorites for dinner. Everything is delicious my son loves the Braised Tofu. Service is excellent, they treat us like family.

Trying some dim sum venues. Best Dim Sum is close if you are in east Roseville! All the tea pasteries are made locally!
Today we tried : baked bbq pork bun (tender and finely minced bbq pork in chinese bbq sauce), ground pork and vegetable wrapped in tofu skin, my favorite was excellent), dicon radish cake (unusual but nice texture), shrimp har kow (with some good sized whole shrimp), bbq pork chow mein with pan fried noodles. We were served green tea. The food was authentic and tasty. The food came out quickly.
The owner was friendly and helpful. I visited with my wife and grandson (1 yr old). Accomodated children! Flat level entry. Handicap access friendly. Handicap slots are right infront of the restaurant.
We will return again! No drive downtown!
